🌾 Harvest Festival 2026 🌾

Our Harvest Festival on Sunday, 9 August was a wonderful celebration of God’s abundant provision and goodness.

The baskets of blessings placed at the Chancel steps were beautifully and generously filled with an abundance of fruit, vegetables and other produce, while the cash offerings received were also most generous.

We were especially blessed to have Dr Dhanan Senathirajah as our guest preacher. His insightful and inspirational message reminded us of the many blessings we receive from God and of our responsibility to be thankful stewards of His gifts.

Our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to making this year’s Harvest Festival such a meaningful and joyful celebration.

Join us as we gather to celebrate God’s abundant blessings at the Christ Church Galle Face English Parish Harvest Festival 2026! 🌾✨

Under this year’s theme, ‘Giving Thanks for the Bounty of God’s Earth’, we invite you to a special morning of gratitude, reflection, and fellowship. We are also honored to have Dr. Dhanan Senthiraiah delivering this year's Harvest Festival Message.

A Special Act of Thanksgiving:
We invite everyone to bring fruits and vegetables representing the "First Fruits of Creation" to be placed in baskets at the Chancel steps. Harvest Festival envelopes will also be available for thanksgiving offerings as we celebrate God's continuous provision.

(Please note: This will be a special combined gathering, and no other services will be held on this day).

It was a wonderful day of fellowship, fun, and friendship as the Christ Church Galle Face family came together for a memorable parish outing at Earl’s Regent, Negombo, on Saturday, 11 July! ☀️🌴

There was something for everyone – splashing in the pool 💦, forming new connections through Human Bingo 🤝, sharing a scrumptious lunch 🍽️, and enjoying the beautiful seaside surroundings 🌊.

More than just a day away, it was a time of laughter and shared moments, of strengthening old friendships and making new ones 🥰🫂.

Above all, we thank God for the joy and blessing of belonging to one church family. 🙏✨
