"We can practice dependent arising by carefully observing how experiences unfold in our daily life. When we see something, a feeling arises, and from that feeling craving or dislike can begin. If we are mindful, we gently note, “this is just a feeling,” without holding onto it. For example, while using a phone or hearing stressful news, we can pause and notice how tension begins in the mind and body. Instead of reacting, we allow the feeling to arise and pass away naturally. When anger appears in a busy moment, we look at its cause, such as tiredness or expectation, and we do not feed it. While eating, walking, or speaking, we stay aware of each step and each action, seeing how intention leads to action and result. In this way, we learn that everything comes and goes based on conditions, not by itself. This understanding helps us not to cling to pleasant moments or resist unpleasant ones. As we continue this practice, the mind becomes lighter, calmer, and more free in the middle of a stressful world."

" Waking up every morning, instead of rushing to start our day, we can welcome the beautiful sights and sounds that our eyes and ears have to offer. Can you see the beautiful white clouds and blue sky? Or the dark sky gently telling you to enjoy the scenic sunrise that it is about to present? Do you notice every cell of your body blooming like flowers as you feel the warm embrace of the sunlight? How about the music that your ears and the birds are playing together?

This insightful practice only takes a few minutes and can be boosted with deep conscious breathing. It will help us to recognise that there is already an abundance of conditions for our happiness and if we always start our day in such a calm and mindful manner, happiness will become a habit. Isn't it a wonderful thing to be happy without desire? When we realise that we have the capacity to be happy, it will give our minds the space and clarity to focus on our priorities...."

HOW TO REDUCE OUR MENTAL AGONY...?

"Whenever certain difficulties and problems arise, we should make up our mind to reduce our mental agony. First, we must try to understand the nature of the world where we live. We can never expect everything in this world to be perfect and to run smootly. The world situation may not always be in our favour. There could be no world and no life without problems. Natural forces like sunlight, rain, wind and moonlight are favourable and useful to many, yet at times they could be a nuisance to many others. There is in fact nothing perfectly bad of perfectly good in this world because the very things that are welcomed by one group could be hated by another group. Therefore, we define good and bad according to our needs. Things are neither good nor bad by nature, According to Buddhism, the world exist on conflict to which we become part of. If we have strong selfish cravings for existence and the senses, we will have to pay the price - the mental agony of having to survive with a topsy-turvy view of the world. Wishful thinking, yearnings for eternity and clinging to feelings such as the elusive 'I' or 'Me' only warp the mind and its sense of time. Unfulfilled desires yields their crop of quarels, friction, communication failures, fear, worry, loneliness and anxiety. There are no free rides. If you are desirous of eradicating the mental agony within us, we have to subdue selfish cravings. Life's journey has a T-junction. Either we take the right path and develop our spiritually to unwind the tensions of wordly life or you continue to indulge in sensual pleasures with their many attendant confrontations. One way to relieve ourself of our occasional mental agony is to understand the degree of our own sufferings and difficulties compared with those experienced by others. When we are unhappy, we often feel that the world is against us. We think that everything around us is about to collapse. We feel that the end of the road is near. However, if you take a mental note of things around us and count our blessings, surprisingly, we will find that we are indeed much better off than many other people. You might have probably heard the saying: .

'I complained I had no shoes until I met a man who has no feet'. In short, we have been unduly exaggerating our own difficulties and problems. Others are in fact worse off, and yet they do not worry themselves induly. Problems are there. We should try to solve them instead of worrying and creating mental anguish within us...."

May the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha bless all of you and all living beings to have good health peace and happiness by being free from all sufferings.....!

04/04/2026

"In reality, we each have many kinds of “seeds” lying deep in our consciousness. Those we water are the ones that sprout, come up into our awareness, and manifest outwardly. So in our own consciousness there is hell, and there is also paradise. We are capable of being compassionate, understanding, and joyful. If we pay attention only to the negative things in us, especially the suffering of past hurts, we are wallowing in our sorrows and not getting any positive nourishment. We can practice appropriate attention, watering the wholesome qualities in us by touching the positive things that are always available inside and around us. That is good food for our mind.
One way of taking care of our suffering is to invite a seed of the opposite nature to come up. As nothing exists without its opposite, if we have a seed of arrogance, we have also a seed of compassion. Every one of us has a seed of compassion. If we practice mindfulness of compassion every day, the seed of compassion in us will become strong. The thing that we need only is concentration on it and it will come up as a powerful zone of energy. Naturally, when compassion comes up, arrogance goes down. We don’t have to fight it or push it down. We can selectively water the good seeds and refrain from watering the negative seeds. This doesn’t mean we ignore our suffering; it just means that we allow the positive seeds that are naturally there to get attention and nourishment..."

"It is high time to live with the Nature harmoniously"

"In this world, everything is impermanent, rising and falling, appearing and disappearing like waves in the ocean. The suffering we witness, from devastating natural disasters to the horrors of war, is a reflection of both nature’s law and the consequences of human greed, ignorance, and selfishness. When we exploit the earth without mindfulness, polluting and destroying it for temporary gain and pleasure, the nature inevitably responds, reminding us of our interconnectedness. The same applies to humanity. When selfish desires fuel conflicts, hatred, and violence, suffering spreads like wildfire, leaving behind pain and loss. Yet, Buddhism teaches that suffering is not a punishment but a lesson, an opportunity to awaken and cultivate wisdom and compassion. If we understand the impermanence of all things, we will not cling to greed and hatred but instead live harmoniously with the nature and each other. The disasters we face can serve as wake-up calls, urging us to return to kindness, mindfulness, and balance. Just as storms pass and new life grows, healing is possible if we change our ways. Let us act with compassion, take responsibility for our actions, and respect both the earth, environment, nature and all beings. In doing so, we lessen suffering and create a world of peace, where the cycle of destruction is replaced by the cycle of renewal. True refuge lies not in control, but in understanding and embracing the truth of impermanence with wisdom and compassion "

"Let's Grow Spiritually"

In these difficult times, it is natural to feel fear, sadness, anger, and uncertainty. We should remember that these feelings are human, and we are not alone in experiencing them. When the mind becomes overwhelmed, we can gently bring our attention to the breath—slowly breathing in and out, allowing the body to relax little by little. We can try to take one day at a time, without worrying too much about the past or the future. Even in hardship, small acts like sharing food, kind words, or helping one another can bring strength and hope. We should keep our minds close to loving-kindness by wishing safety and peace for ourselves and others. We can protect our bodies by resting when possible, eating simple food, and caring for our health as best as we can. When painful thoughts arise, we do not need to fight them; we can gently observe them and let them pass like clouds in the sky. When possible, we can speak with someone we trust and share our hearts. We should remember that all conditions are changing, and this suffering will not last forever. By keeping patience, mindfulness, and compassion, we can slowly find inner strength and peace within ourselves.

May all beings who are suffering due to war and economic crisis be safe and protected.
May we be free from fear, danger, and suffering and its causes.
May we find strength, courage, and support in our lives.
May we not be separated from peace, comfort, and hope.
May all beings live with calm minds, kind hearts, and mutual understanding.

May the Noble Triple Gem—the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Saṅgha—bless you, your and families, and all beings to have good health, peace, safety, strength, and happiness. May you and all sentient beings be free from all sicknesses, worries, dangers, and suffering. I am sharing merits and mettā with all...!

"Let's Live with the Dhamma"

"In these days many of us are facing difficulties. Around the world we hear news of war, rising prices, economic uncertainty, and many pressures in daily life. Families worry about their future, people feel stress in their work, and sometimes our hearts become heavy with fear and anxiety. When the world becomes unstable like this, it is very easy for the mind to lose peace.

However, the Buddha reminds us that true peace does not come from outside conditions alone. Peace begins within our own hearts. When we cultivate wisdom, patience, and compassion, we can remain steady even when the world around us is uncertain. When we develop loving-kindness, respect, and understanding toward one another, we create harmony in our homes, communities, and societies. War, conflict, and suffering often arise when greed, anger, and ignorance dominate the human mind. Therefore, the Buddha taught us to reduce selfishness and to cultivate generosity, compassion, and wisdom.

In times when prices rise and economic pressures increase, we can practice the beautiful teaching of contentment. Instead of constantly wanting more, we learn to appreciate what we already have. Living simply, helping one another, and sharing resources with kindness can bring great peace to our lives. When we reduce unnecessary desires, our worries also become lighter. At the same time, we should strengthen our hearts with loving-kindness and compassion. When we see others suffering due to war, poverty, or hardship, we can respond with kindness, generosity, and supportive actions. Even a small act of care, a kind word, or a helping hand can bring great comfort to someone’s life. By helping others morally, we also purify our own hearts. The Buddha also reminded us about kamma, the natural law of cause and effect. Good actions bring good results, and harmful actions bring suffering. Therefore, if we wish to create a peaceful world, we must begin by cultivating good thoughts, good speech, and good actions in our own daily lives. When we live with honesty, patience, and compassion, we are already creating a small heaven here on earth.

Let us also remember the importance of mindfulness and calm reflection. When the mind becomes overwhelmed by worries about the future, we can pause, breathe, and return to the present moment. Through meditation, prayer, and reflection on the Dhamma, we can protect the mind from fear and develop inner stability. Even in difficult times, we can choose to plant seeds of goodness. If each of us tries to live a harmless and respectful life, if we treat others with dignity and kindness, then our families, communities, and societies can experience real peace and happiness.

May we all walk together on the path of wisdom and compassion.
May we support one another with kindness and understanding.
May our hearts be free from hatred, fear, and selfishness.

May the Noble Triple Gem — the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Saṅgha — bless all of us and all beings.
May we have good health, peace, ease, and protection.
May we overcome all difficulties with wisdom and courage.
May our hearts be filled with loving-kindness, compassion, and joy.
May peace arise in every corner of the world.

With mettā and blessings to all.

Sādhu! Sādhu! Sādhu! 🙏🏻

"If we want to live in this world peacefully and happily, we should allow others also to live peacefully and happily, so that we can make this world something which is worthy of life." Unless and until we adjust ourself to live according to these noble principles, we cannot expect happiness and peace in this world. We cannot expect this happiness and peace from heaven simply by praying. If we act according to moral principles by upholding human dignity, we can create our own heaven right here in this world. We can also create the hell-fire on this earth itself if we abuse valuable human life. By not knowing how to live according to this universal cosmic law, we often stumble. If each man tries to lead a harmless and respectable life, people can enjoy real heavenly bliss better than the kind that some people hope to gain after death.

It is superfluous to create a heaven elsewhere to reward virtue, or a hell to punish vice; virtue and evil have inevitable reactions in this world itself regardless of religious faith. In fact, Compassion and Loving-kindness for all creatures is the onlý way to generate peace and happiness in our life as well as in the society. By helping others morally, we help ourself and by helping ourself morally, we help others...."

"Let's be happy here and now"

In today’s world, many people are always trying to get more and more success, more money, and more things. Everywhere we look, we are told that happiness comes from having more. Because of this, we often expect too much from ourselves. This creates stress, tiredness, and disappointment. We keep running after the next achievement, but in this endless race, we sometimes forget what truly matters in life.

To live a simple and healthy life, we need to learn how to reduce greed and be content with what we have. True happiness does not come from expensive things or constant success. It can be found in simple moments, spending time with our family , friends and enjoying nature, practicing kindness, or doing activities that bring peace to the heart. When we simplify our lives and focus on what is truly meaningful, our minds become lighter and calmer. We begin to see the beauty of everyday life and discover joy in things that money cannot buy.

Living simply in a world that always asks for more is not easy. Yet, when we let go of unrealistic expectations and practice contentment, we find real peace and fulfillment. Let us pause for a moment, reflect on our priorities, and learn to appreciate the simple blessings already present in our lives."

May the Noble Triple Gem, the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Saṅgha bless you, your beloved family members, dhamma friends, and all beings. "Living with wisdom means learning to understand life as it truly is and accepting both its joys and challenges with honesty. In our daily lives, we all experience gain and loss, praise and blame, success and failure, happiness and sadness. These changing conditions are natural parts of life, and they come and go like the weather. When we understand this clearly, we become less shaken by difficulties and less attached to temporary pleasures. Instead of being discouraged by loss or criticism, we can learn from them and continue our journey with patience and courage. When success or praise comes, we can receive them with gratitude but without pride or attachment. By being mindful and kind to ourselves, we develop inner strength and emotional balance. This understanding helps us remain steady and peaceful even when life feels uncertain. With a heart filled with kindness, compassion, and wisdom, we can support others who are also facing the ups and downs of life. Each experience becomes an opportunity to grow in understanding and to live more meaningfully. In this way, we stay motivated, honest, and gentle with ourselves and others, walking the path of life with awareness, resilience, and a peaceful heart."

"If we pause for a moment and reflect, we may see that true beauty does not come from the body but from the mind. When people try to beautify their minds instead of only beautifying their bodies, their lives naturally become more peaceful and joyful. A beautiful mind filled with kindness, compassion, and wisdom creates happiness not only for oneself but also for the whole world. We should not wait for happiness to come to us, because happiness does not arrive on its own. Instead, we can gently cultivate it by letting go of greed, hatred, anger, jealousy, ill will, and ignorance. When we replace these unwholesome states with loving-kindness, compassion, and appreciative joy, happiness begins to arise within us. This happiness is not distant or imagined, but something we can experience here and now. A calm and pure mind brings ease, clarity, and balance into our daily life. As more people beautify their minds in this way, the world itself becomes softer, kinder, and more harmonious. In this simple practice of inner cultivation, we discover that lasting happiness is already within our reach.."
