ලඩාක් - ලේහ් සංචාරයේ මීළඟ සුවිශේෂී නවාතැන්පල වූ මහාබෝධි ජාත්‍යන්තර භාවනා මධ්‍යස්ථානය වෙත සමන්තභද්‍ර ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ ඇතුළු පිරිස ඊයේ දින (2026 10 03 ) වැඩම කළහ.
එහිදී පසුගිය වර උමන්දාව විශ්ව බෞද්ධ ගම්මානයේ පිරිස විසින් මුල්ගල තබා ඉදිකරනු ලැබූ අඩි 20ක් උසැති සමාධි බුද්ධ ප්‍රතිමා වහන්සේ සහ අනගාරික ධර්මපාල තුමාගේ පිළිරුව පළමු වතාවට සියැසින් දැකබලා ගැනීමට පිරිසට මෙහිදී අවස්ථාව ලැබුණි.
එමෙන්ම මෙම මහාබෝධි මධ්‍යස්ථානයට අනුබද්ධ පාසලේ දරුවන් සඳහා අධ්‍යාපනික උපකරණ තෑගි කිරීමට ද පිරිස අමතක නොකළ අතර, මහාබෝධි මධ්‍යස්ථානයේ නිර්මාතෘ සංඝසේන නායක හිමිපාණන් වෙත උමන්දාව නිෂ්පාදන සහ පරිත්‍යාගයන් ද පූජා කරන ලදී.
එයට අමතරව, උමංදාව විසින් ඉදිකළ එම සමාධි බුද්ධ ප්‍රතිමා වහන්සේ අභියස විශේෂ පූජාවක් ද පවත්වන ලදී.

Samanthabhadra Thero and his delegation arrived at the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (2026 10 03 ), marking the next significant destination on their Ladakh-Leh tour.
During this visit, the group had the privilege of witnessing, for the very first time, the 20-foot-tall Samadhi Buddha statue and the statue of Anagarika Dharmapala. The foundation stones for these monuments were laid and their construction was carried out by the team from Umandawa Global Buddhist Village during a previous visit.
The delegation also thoughtfully distributed educational materials to the children at the school affiliated with the Mahabodhi Centre. Additionally, they offered exclusive Umandawa products and other donations to the founder of the centre, Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena.
Furthermore, a special religious ceremony (pooja) was conducted before the Samadhi Buddha statue constructed by Umandawa.
