On the Interest of the Nation ZamZam Foundation immediately is in action for "Back to School with a Smile - 2016" Project to see the Flood Victims relief in the educational perspective.

This project will be under the coordination of the RCC (Relief Coordination Center) which is a nerve established representing many civil organizations.

The Children affected by the floods in Sri Lanka is hoped to be aided with a stationary pack, a school bag, and a DSI Voucher, which will help get back to their normal life routine.

Sadaqatul jariyah is ongoing charity (continuous rewards) received by us (for good actions and deeds), that will not only benefit us in this life, but will continue to benefit us after our death.

Allah SWT says: “… and spend something (in charity) out of the provision which we have bestowed you, before death should come to any of you and he should say, o my Rabb! Why do you not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good.” (Qur’an, 63:10)

We at BHE have initiated a project deep inside the Mannar area, seeking to alleviate the scarcity of water by constructing a well for the benefit of the people in that area.

Construction of the well shall begin towards the end of March 2016.

VOLUNTARY FASTING
Besides obligatory fasting (Ramadan month's fasting) there are times when it is recommended to make voluntary fasting, after the Traditions of Prophet Muhammad SAWS. Among these times are
* Each Monday and Thursday of a week (monday is Prophet SAWS's birthday and “Deeds are shown (to Allaah) on Mondays and Thursdays, and I like my deeds to be shown when I am fasting.” Sahih Hadith)
* The 13th, 14th, and 15th day of each lunar month
* Six days in the month of Shawwal (the month following Ramadan)
* The Day of Arafat (9th of Dhu al-Hijjah in the Islamic (Hijri) calendar)
* The Day of Ashuraa (10th of Muharram in the Islamic (Hijri) calendar), with one more day of fasting before or after it.
Besides, it is always compensating to fast any day of any month of the year, except the prohibited Days
