Easter Sunday Prayer

May this Easter Sunday fill our hearts with the presence of Jesus and our lives with the joy of His resurrection.

May God’s grace surround us and our family. May He fill our hearts with peace, our minds with hope, and our lives with new beginnings, healing, and happiness.

Lord, thank You for the gift of Your Son. Thank You because through His resurrection, we are reminded that hope is alive, grace is real, and Your love never fails.

On this Easter Sunday, renew our faith, strengthen our hearts, and help us walk in the joy and victory of the risen Christ. Fill our home with peace, our family with love, and our days with Your presence.

May we always remember that the empty tomb is proof that nothing is impossible with You. Because Jesus lives, we can face tomorrow with courage, hope, and trust.

Today is Easter Sunday, let this be our prayer:

Dear Lord,

We thank You with grateful hearts.

Jesus is alive, and because He rose again, we have hope.

Thank You for sending Your Son to die for us and rise again, so we could have forgiveness, new life, and eternal hope.

Thank You because the grave did not win. Sin did not win. Death did not win.

Jesus won.

Lord, help us understand how beautiful and powerful this day truly is.

Remind us that because Jesus lives, we can face life with hope, peace, and happiness.

When we feel tired, afraid, or heavy inside, comfort our hearts.

When we struggle, remind us that You are with us.

When we feel weak, remind us that Your power is greater than anything we carry.

Forgive us, renew us, and draw us closer to You. Help us not to take Your love, Your sacrifice, and Your resurrection for granted.

Let this Easter Sunday fill our hearts with peace, gratitude, and living faith.

Thank You, Lord, because Jesus is risen.

And because He lives, we have hope for today and forever.

In Jesus’ name we pray,

“It is finished.”- John 19:30

On the cross, Jesus declared, “It is finished.” In that moment, His work of salvation was complete. Every sin, every burden, every wrong we could never fix, He bore it all.

This Good Friday, may we all be reminded that the cross was not a defeat but the ultimate victory. Jesus’ sacrifice made a way for forgiveness, freedom, and new life. His love went all the way, so we could walk in grace.

Let His finished work reminds you that love won. Hope won.

“එය අවසන්.”- යොහන් 19:30

කුරුසියේදී, යේසුස් ප්‍රකාශ කළේ, “එය අවසන්” කියායි. ඒ මොහොතේ, උන්වහන්සේගේ ගැලවීමේ කාර්යය සම්පූර්ණ විය. අපට කිසිදා නිවැරදි කළ නොහැකි සෑම පාපයක්ම, සෑම බරක්ම, සෑම වැරැද්දක්ම උන්වහන්සේ දරා ගත් සේක.

මෙම මහ සිකුරාදා, කුරුසය පරාජයක් නොව අවසාන ජයග්‍රහණය බව අප සැමට මතක් කර දෙනු ලැබේවා. යේසුස් වහන්සේගේ පූජාව සමාව, නිදහස සහ නව ජීවිතය සඳහා මාර්ගයක් විය. උන්වහන්සේගේ ප්‍රේමය සෑම අතින්ම ගියේය, එබැවින් අපට කරුණාවෙන් ගමන් කළ හැකිය.

උන්වහන්සේගේ නිමි කාර්යය ප්‍රේමය දිනූ බව ඔබට මතක් කර දෙයි. බලාපොරොත්තුව දිනුවා. ජීවිතය දිනුවා.

"முடிந்தது." - யோவான் 19:30

சிலுவையில், இயேசு, "முடிந்தது" என்று அறிவித்தார். அந்தத் தருணத்தில், அவருடைய இரட்சிப்பின் பணி நிறைவடைந்தது. நம்மால் ஒருபோதும் சரிசெய்ய முடியாத ஒவ்வொரு பாவத்தையும், ஒவ்வொரு பாரத்தையும், ஒவ்வொரு தவறையும் அவர் சுமந்தார்.

இந்த புனித வெள்ளியன்று, சிலுவை ஒரு தோல்வியல்ல, அதுவே இறுதி வெற்றி என்பதை நாம் அனைவரும் நினைவுகூருவோமாக. இயேசுவின் தியாகம் மன்னிப்புக்கும், விடுதலைக்கும், புதிய வாழ்வுக்கும் வழிவகுத்தது. நாம் கிருபையில் நடப்பதற்காக, அவருடைய அன்பு நம்மை முழுமையாகச் சென்றடைந்தது.

அன்பு வென்றது, நம்பிக்கை வென்றது, வாழ்வு வென்றது என்பதை அவருடைய நிறைவுபெற்ற பணி உங்களுக்கு நினைவூட்டட்டும்.

He didn’t wait for loyalty.
He didn’t demand understanding.
He didn’t choose only the ones who would stay.

He washed the feet of the ones who would fall asleep, the one who would deny Him, and even the one who would betray Him.

Jesus knew. He knew every failure, every weakness, every wound they would cause—and still, He knelt.

This is the kind of love we often avoid—a love that serves without being asked, that gives without being returned, that stays gentle even when it’s about to be hurt.

And if we’re honest… this confronts us.
Because we love with conditions.
We serve when it’s convenient.
We withhold when we feel unappreciated.

But Jesus, on His final night, showed us a different way.
Not power, but humility.
Not distance, but nearness.
Not pride, but a towel and a basin.
