Ministry Asia

Ministry Asia Impacting lives and transforming nations for the cause of Christ in Asia and the regions beyond Lay leaders are welcome to attend day sessions.

Because we believe that God is working mightily in the 10–40 window, we have assembled a proven group of teachers and pastors to challenge and equip leaders from all over Asia. The daytime sessions will include training for pastors, local church leaders, Christian businessmen, and laymen who want to be used of God in a greater way. Sessions will include soulwinning, discipleship, church leadership

, church music programs and much more. In the evening we look forward to special music provided by West Coast Baptist College and the area choirs from throughout Manila. The evening services are open to members of your churches and will be instructional and inspirational as we are challenged to stand and reach souls for Christ in this hour. Finally, our overall theme is “Striving Together for Asia and Beyond.” It is our hope to encourage the spirit of Philippians 1:27 as we strive together for missions, revival, and soulwinning.

This question remains:

How will they hear?

Half of Asia - that’s over 2 billion people are still waiting - for the Word of God in their local language.

“The entrance of thy words giveth light…” (Psalm 119:130).

Today, they don’t have this light!

The need is not only for someone to go, but for the Word of God to reach everyone, everywhere, in every language.

Pray for Bible translation efforts
Pray for faithful distribution
Pray that the light of God’s Word would reach into the darkest places

This question keeps coming back:

How will they hear?

Across Asia—over 4 billion people—most have never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel. Not once.

Not because they rejected it.
Not because they opposed it.
But because no one has told them.

This is our time. We are accountable.

“If Nothing Changes in Me - Nothing Will Change for Them”

Pray for labourers.
Pray for open doors.
Pray that we will do our part

This year, I’ve spent significant time in Asia.

Across South Asia and Southeast Asia, there are crowds everywhere… people constantly passing by.

And one question keeps coming back:

Lord, how will they hear?

The need is overwhelming. If we lose our vision, the blind will never see.

🙏 Please join us this week in prayer:
– for those labouring
– for those preparing to go
– and for others to surrender

“How shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:14)

Please partner with us in prayer—for more labourers.

“The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few…” (Luke 10:2)

Wishing you and your family a wonderful New Year and God’s blessings.

And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. Psalm 90:17

God is doing great things in Thailand!

We had the opportunity to be with missionary Wayne Sehmish and more than 250 Thai Pastors and believers for a conference in Nakhon Sawan. It is a joy to witness Thai nationals letting their light shine in their communities and beyond, advancing God’s work throughout the region.

Nestled high in the eastern Himalayas at an elevation of over 10,000 feet, Bhutan is home to just 780,000 people.
Everywhere you go, you feel it: a reverence for their beloved King and a generational Buddhist faith. where they believe, to be Bhutanese is to be Buddhist.” Buddhist faith woven into daily life. Prayer flags dance in the mountain wind, prayer wheels by the roadside, and ancient monasteries perch on cliffs.
Grateful to have had the opportunity to get a small glimpse of the Kingdom of Bhutan — the last great Himalayan kingdom. Bhutan is a country in the 10/40 Focus Nations.

Interesting Perspective!
The Map Shows the World Divided into Two Equal Parts
Half — 4 billion people — live in the area marked in red. The other half — 4 billion people — live in that small area marked in yellow.
Here are some startling statistics to note about this region highlighted in yellow:
1. GOSPEL: Over 90% of people in this region have never heard a clear presentation of the gospel — not even once.
2. BIBLES: Only 50% of the people in this region have a Bible in their local language.
3. LABOUR FORCE: Less than 4% of the missionary labour force are serving in this region.
4. TRAINING: Less than 5% of the national pastors in this region have had proper theological training.
5. FUNDS: Research indicates that less than 2% of Christian giving is directed towards missionary endeavours in this region.
We are all familiar with the quote by Oswald J. Smith:
“No one has the right to hear the gospel twice while there remains someone who has not heard it once.”
The reality is that time is running out and there is an urgency.
Two questions we ponder:
1. First, the same question Saul asked of the Lord: “Lord, what wilt Thou have me to do?” (Acts 9:6).
2. Lord, what can I do to help make a difference?
The reality is that if nothing changes, nothing will change.

Thankful for the opportunity to visit Bhutan for the first time. It’s a beautiful part of God’s creation, with gracious people and a great need for the gospel. Please join us this week in praying for Bhutan.
