සුභ අලුත් අවුරුද්දක් වේවා ! 🌞

දේවෝ වස්සතු කාලේන
සස්ස සම්පත්ති හෝතුච
පීතෝ භවතු ලෝකෝච
රාජා භවතු ධම්මිකෝ

පිබිදුණු සොබාදහමත් සමඟින් උදාවන හෙළයේ මහා සංස්කෘතික මංගල්‍යය එනම් සිංහල හින්දු අලුත් අවුරුද්ද නිමිත්තෙන් සමස්ත නාලන්දා පුත්‍රයන්ටත් ලොකවාසී ජනතාවටත් සුභ පැතුම් එක් කර සිටිමු. සූර්යයා මීන රාශියෙන් මේෂ රාශියට පැමිණීමත් සමග ඇරඹෙන සිංහල හින්දු නව වසර අපේ ජාතික එකමුතුකම විදහා දක්වන කැඩපතකි. හෙළ සංස්කෘතියට මුල් තැන දෙමින් නාලන්දීයයන් වශයෙන් උදා වූ නව වසර සමරමු.

මහා ථූපයේ ආනුභාව බලයෙන්, දළදා හාමුදුරුවන්ගේ පිහිටෙන්, ජය සිරි මහා බෝධීන් වහන්සේගේ රැකවරණින්, රත්නත්‍රයේ අනන්ත ආශිර්වාදයෙන් උදා වූ සිංහල හින්දු අලුත් අවුරුද්ද සාමය සතුට සෞභාග්‍ය සපිරි සුභම සුභ අලුත් අවුරුද්දක් වේවායි ප්‍රාර්ථනා කර සිටිමු.

අථ බාලෝ දුක්ඛං නිගච්ඡති

පාපය යම්තාක් විපාක නොදේද, ඒතාක් අනුවණයා එය මී මෙන් (රසවත්ව) සිතයි. යම් විටක පාපය විපාක දෙයි ද එවිට අනුවණයා දුකට පැමිණෙයි.

අප මහා සිද්ධාර්ථ ගෞතම බෝසතාණන් වහන්සේ බුද්ධත්වයට පත්ව පස්වන වසරේ දී, දෙවන ලංකාගමනය ලෙස නාගදීපයට වැඩම කොට මැණික් පුටුවක් වෙනුවෙන් එකිනෙකාට ඇණුම් කා ගත් චුල්ලෝදර මහෝදර නා රජවරුන් අතර සටන සංසඳවනු ලැබීම හා ඔවුන් විසින් ඉහත කී මැණික් පුටුව බුදුන් වහන්සෙට පූජා කරනු ලැබීම මෙවන් පොහොය දිනක දී සිදුවුණු අතර එහිදී බුදුන් වහන්සේට මණිඅක්ඛිත නා රජුන්ගෙන් තම දේශයට(කළ්‍යාණි පුරයට) වැඩම කරන ලෙසට අරාධනයක් ද ලැබුණු බව වංශ කතාවන්හි සඳහන් වේ. බක් පොහෝ දිනය තුළින් රාජ්‍ය පාලකයන්ට සාමය සහ මෛත්‍රිය තුළින් ප්‍රශ්න විසඳාගත හැකි බව පෙන්නුම් කර දෙයි.

ලොව්තුරා සම්මා සම්බුදු රජාණන් වහන්සේ දේශනා කළ මෙත්තා, කරුණා, මුදිතා සහ උපේක්ඛා යන සතර බ්‍රහ්ම විහරණවලට අනුව ජීවිතය ගොඩනගා ගැනීමට උපකාර ලැ‌බෙන, පින්බර බක් පුරපසළොස්වක පොහොය දිනයක් වේවා. තවද, මේ දිනවල විශ්වය අසමතුලිත කරන්නට සමත් ව ඇති යුධ ගැටුම් නිරාකරණය වී ලෝක සාමය ආරක්ෂා වේවායි ප්‍රාර්ථනා කරමු!!!
