It’s proud to say that our school is the biggest school which consists with the 100% Sinhalese Buddhist students & teachers. Through out the history many Nalandians have taken in front & sometimes they’ve sacrificed their lives for the betterment of the country, nation & Buddhism. As being a Buddhist school Nalanda College Buddhist Association (NCBA) has become the major society of the school. To
protect & enhance the values & religious background of the school NCBA takes part through out the year. In 1925 Nalanda College became a separate school & Little did the founders of the school know that after 87 years Nalanda College will be the undisputed leader of the Buddhist renaissance in the country, carving golden reminisces among the minds of many Sri Lankan by organizing massive projects in a grand scale in order to create a better principled Sinhalese Buddhist renaissance in country.
