*FAREWELL, REV. SHIRLEY FABER - TO GOD BE THE GLORY!*
Rev. Shirley E. Faber conducts his final Sunday service this evening as pastor of the English congregation of the CRC Wellawatte.
With deep gratitude, we honour Rev. Faber as he completes his tenure at CRC Wellawatte, having faithfully served the English Congregation from 2021 to 2025 following his appointment to the Wellawatte LC in 2018. His illustrious 46 years of ministry within the CRCSL, including leadership roles on committees, the Board of Trustees, and many years as President of both the LC and the CRCSL, stand as a testament to his devotion and faithful service. As he now takes up his new calling as Pastor of the CRC Wolvendhaal English and Sinhala congregations, we pray that the Lord will continue to bless and sustain him and his family.
May his unwavering devotion, steadfast leadership, and humble spirit inspire generations to come. His ministry truly reflects the words he lives by:
“To God be the Glory.”

Sheep,Shepherds and a Savior!!

Join us for the English Sunday School Carol service on 7th December at 5.00 p.m.

A prayerful time of worship to ignite hope and peace to the hearts of all those affected by the recent floods and the aftermath,not only in our church community but also the country.

The collection from the service to be donated to the welfare of our church families affected by the floods in Ulapone,Kegalle,Makandura and Kalpitiya.
