"He must increase, but I must decrease." โ€” John 3:30

St. Johnโ€™s life is a profound testament to humility, courage, and unwavering faith. As university students and young Catholics, his mission reminds us to be voices of truth and light in our own environments, always pointing others toward Christ.

May his intercession give us the strength to prepare our hearts, embrace our calling, and walk faithfully in God's light. Wishing you all a truly blessed and inspiring Feast Day! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™

A beautiful look back at a day of new beginnings! ๐ŸŒ…

On the 16th of May 2026, we had the absolute privilege of officially welcoming the vibrant 19th Batch into our community. Held at the sacred and beautiful St. Mary's Cathedral, Badulla, "Aurora Nova" was a day filled with abundant blessings, fellowship, and the start of lifelong friendships.

The Uva Wellassa University Catholic Students' Movement (UWUCSM) is incredibly thrilled to see our family grow with such energetic and faithful young individuals.

To our dear freshers of the 19th Batch: We are so proud to have you with us. May your academic journey ahead be guided by faith, driven by excellence, and enriched by unity. Welcome home! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

"But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart." - Luke 2:19 โœจ

Following the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart, today we celebrate the Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Her heart is the ultimate symbol of perfect love, purity, and total surrender to God's will. As a Catholic student community, may we learn from our Blessed Mother to reflect on God's grace in our daily lives and academic journeys.

May the gentle and immaculate heart of Mary protect and guide the UWUCSM family always. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ™

"A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you." - Ezekiel 36:26 โœจ

On this Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we reflect on the ultimate symbol of God's infinite and burning love for humanity. Let us allow His gentle and humble heart to transform our own, inspiring us to love and serve one another within our university community and beyond.

Wishing everyone a highly blessed and grace-filled Feast of the Sacred Heart! โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

I am the living bread that came down from heaven." โ€” John 6:51

Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. May the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist continually nourish our souls, strengthen our faith, and unite our UWUCSM family in His eternal love.

Wishing you all a highly blessed Feast of Corpus Christi! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿค

๐Ÿ“– "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all." โ€” 2 Cor 13:14

Today, we celebrate the absolute core of our Catholic faith: One God in three Divine Personsโ€”God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is a glorious celebration of perfect, eternal love and communion. We honor the Father who creates, the Son who redeems, and the Spirit who sanctifies, undivided in their divine majesty.

For the UWU Catholic Students' Movement, the Holy Trinity is our ultimate model of perfect fellowship and unity. May this profound mystery inspire us to strengthen our brotherhood, support each other in our academic journey, and live in unwavering faith.

May the Triune God bless our university community and fill our hearts with His eternal light. Wishing you a highly blessed and grace-filled Trinity Sunday! ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ™
