Anumodana sadhu my dearest most respected Bhikkhu Bhikkhuni Upasaka Ubasika from Buddha Chathuparisa Foundation from Thailand. Today we, celebrated the Maha Abhidhamma Lokuttara day at Kurundankulama, Mihintale. Giving more respect to Anuththara Sammasambuddha and the Founder of our Society the great Abhidhamma Professor Suchat Nakon, Bhikkhu Bhikkhuni and Ubasaka Ubasika. Aiye Suchinta, Aiye Warawanna and both of us did this function and village people participated the event. They very happy to see the event and got to know the story about Gandhabba Rukkamula. MahaAbhidhamma Loka (Lokuttara) Return to Buddha time. On the full-moon day of the eighth lunar month (Asalahamasassa) at Vassa 7 Buddha announced to perform the “Yamaka Patihariya” at Amphapraksa tree, Sravasti. Before performance this event, a group of heretics aimed to display miracles, learned about the news and destroyed all the mango trees around that area leaving only one mango from “Khandha upasaka”. He was a royal garden-servant of king Pasenthikosol. On the full-moon day of the eighth lunar month, Khandha encountered Buddha during Pindapata. He offered the ripe mango to Buddha at Jetavanmahavihara. Mahaananda (Buddha Upatthak) extracted Ampha (mango) Pana from ripe mango for Buddha. Buddha washed his hand on a mango seed and gave to Khandha upasaka to grow and tend.
A mango tree grew instantly called “Khandhamapraksa” or “Amphapraksa”. Buddha performed Yamaka Patihariya at Amphapraksa, a display of supernatural powers, which is a significant event in Buddha tradition specifically for Buddha’s duty in order to preach Abhidhamma to Buddhamata at Tavatingsa. Buddha stood up on mango shoot. First step on… Mango shoot Second step on… Sineru Third step on… Pandukambalasilaasana Ampha (mango) is the representative of Abhidhamma. All plants originated from Abhidhamma.

Venerable Ayyavisuddhiñāṇavivaṭṭadvipāṭimokkha, together with 12 Sangha Bhikkhunīs and 6 Upāsikā, traveled to Nagpur to conduct the ordination (pabbajjā) of 107 Nagpurian novice nuns (sāmaṇerīs) on 22 December 2025.
The event was organized by the Buddhajatuparisā Veshālī Foundation, under the leadership of Tipiṭaka Dhammācariya Theravāda Balabodhi Suchat Nak-on, and took place during 22–31 December 2025.
Following this, a Dhammacārikā carried out to disseminate the Dhamma from 1 to 10 January 2026.
Training Camp of the Buddhajatuparisā Vesālī Foundation
Nagpur — The Buddhajatuparisā Vesālī Foundation organized a training camp from 22 to 31 December at Shantivan Buddhist Vihāra, Chocholi City.
The training was led by Bhikkhunī Dvipāṭimokkha and Bhikkhunī Visuddhiñāṇa.
A total of 107 laywomen undertook pabbajjā (novice ordination) as sāmaṇerīs for a period of 10 days.
Details of the Training Camp
All sāmaṇerīs would receive intensive training in monastic discipline (Vinaya) and the teachings of the Buddha.
During the training period, there was piṇḍapāta (alms rounds / dhammacārikā) conducted at various locations throughout Nagpur City.
The program then include sessions on the study of the Vinaya, the cultivation and purification of body and mind, and the learning of the Dhamma.
The sāmaṇerīs had the opportunity to study under several bhikkhunīs.
I respectfully rejoice in the merit — sādhu, sādhu, sādhu — of the great wholesome deed performed by the Mahā Saṅgha, the Dhammācariya elders, the 107 pabbajjā candidates, and all supporting attendants on the occasion of the ordination of sāmaṇerīs in Nagpur, the sacred land of Buddhism.
