For tremendous effort he has given to re-develop this hidden sacred land as well as the 4 surrounding villages, he has offered with the titles of “Asarana Sarana (the one who support for the needy)”. This title given for a pioneer monk who dedicated life for others wellbeing long time

back and Ven. Tissa Thero is the recent time receiver of this honor. He is also the “Chief incumbent of North Central Province”. Bhikku has restored and developed the 40 acre land belong to temple premises to a Bio Diversity hotspot.
