Ambalangoda town is located in between Colombo and Galle main cities about 80km away from Colombo. 1km away from the Ambalangoda town in sangaraja mawath the Kaluwadumulla Sri Vijayarama Temple is situated. And there are artifacts to prove that’s the temple is there since 1728. This temple is making a new era of Buddhist temples and Buddhist Art in the history of the Buddhist temples. In this temp

le you can see the only Wooden Buddha Statues museum, in the world, also the biggest wooden statue in Sri Lanka. And of course the biggest wooden Dharma Chakra Mudra in Asia is in this temple as well. This is the only place in the world where you can see the statue of God Shakra.
