The youth choir was founded in 2003, as a part of our lady of Delivrance Parish in Araya. It later became the "Kelmet Hob"(word of love) Choir, electing St.Teresa of Jesus its patron Saint. Inspired by her spirituality, the choir celebrates its anniversary on St.Teresa day. "Kelmet Hob" produced quite successful recitals and celebrations and took part in many social activities such as the Commemor
ation of Araya Martyrs, municipal festivals, celebration of Virgin Mar's feast as well as a number of other festivals and events. The choir's work was never limited to Araya, it rather expanded to celebrations and events outside our town. The Choir has a number of national songs and is preparing to release its first album, which includes a bouquet of new chants. "Kelmet Hob" is not just a name for a choir, it rather indicates a gathered family under the word of "love" and the reflection of Jesus Christ , who first brought a word of love to this world.
