Ghazir Historic Village - غزير بلدة تاريخيّة
Ghazir is famous for being the birthplace of Emir Bechir Al-Chehabi (1767-1850), the Lebanese President Fouad Chehab (1902-1973), and the blessed Abouna Yaacoub (1891-1954).
It is also characterized by its traditional Lebanese architecture. Examples include more than 7 churches and monasteries which date back to the 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th century, as well as The Roman bridge which dates back to the 2nd Century AD.
Ghazir est célèbre pour être le lieu de naissance de l'émir Bechir Al-Chehabi (1767-1850), du président libanais Fouad Chehab (1902-1973) et du bienheureux Abouna Yaacoub (1891-1954).
Il se caractérise également par son architecture libanaise traditionnelle. Les exemples incluent plus de 7 églises et monastères qui remontent aux 15ème, 16ème, 17ème et 18ème siècle, en plus du pont Romain qui date du 2e siècle après J.C.
