He said that Laos and China have very close political, economic and trade exchanges and cultural exchanges. These achievements have a very important relationship with the efforts of the Buddhist community. In the future, the Buddhist circles of our two countries should continue to maintain close ties and exchanges. We will continue to strengthen exchanges and exchanges between the Buddhist communities of the two countries in education and culture. The monk said that mankind has entered an era of informationization and networking, which has brought unprecedented challenges and opportunities to the modernization process of all countries including China and Laos, and the inheritance and development of all civilizations including Buddhism. .
At the same time, the world is in a big change that has never happened in a hundred years. In the big adjustment, how to grasp the course of the times and find its own position is an important issue that the Chinese and Lao peoples and the Buddhist circles of both countries must face.
In order to promote exchanges and mutual learning, Yinshun Daheshang advocated the establishment of a religious sub-forum in the Boao Forum to promote dialogue between different religions. The dialogue between different sects of Buddhism has achieved certain results.
In Shenzhen, the Nanhai Buddhist Roundtable was held for three consecutive years. The Buddhist countries of the South China Sea region gathered in Shenzhen to discuss the topic of Buddhism development in the new era. In the past three years, the Nanhai Buddhism Shenzhen Roundtable Secretariat was established; the Nanhai Silk Road Cultural Fund and the Nanhai Cultural Research Institute were established, and a normalized working mechanism was formed.
Yinshun Daheshang said that the research compilation of the history of Buddhism in the South China Sea has been actively promoted over the years, and the preparation of meditation tutorials suitable for different Buddhist factions in the Buddhist countries of the South China Sea has been initiated.
Twenty Laos monks studied at Nanhai Buddhist College. The Yinshun monk introduced their study and life there. He said: "They heard that I came to Laos to visit this time. I hope that I can convey their greetings and gratitude to you. I also want to learn better and return to the motherland."
