“I guarantee a house on the outskirts of Paradise for one who leaves arguments even if he is right, and a house in the middle of Paradise for one who abandons lies even when joking, and a house in the highest part of Paradise for one who makes his character excellent.”

Many people have bad experiences with men, and women. It is not difficult to generalise all men and women in the same category due to these traumatic experiences and fall into a downward spiral of negativity, despair and hatred. However, these traumatic experiences and associations can be overcome by men and women who show an alternative and true reflection of what Islam and humanity entails. It is our responsibility to overcome evil by demonstrating goodness and being true allies of one another. Denial that oppression and tyranny exists in different forms pushes people away from faith, but accepting and actively overcoming this brings us together through mutual love and respect.
