Blessing Your Pastor Elders Teachers and Leaders

1 Timothy 5:17 - Honor
The elders who lead the church in a good way should receive double honor—in particular, those who do the work of counseling and teaching.

Hebrews 13:17 - Obey
Obey your leaders. Be willing to do what they say. They are responsible for your spiritual welfare, so they are always watching to protect you. Obey them so that their work will give them joy, not grief. It won’t help you to make it hard for them.

Galatians 6:6 - Share
Whoever is being taught God’s word should share the good things they have with the one who is teaching them.

1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 - Respect
Now brothers and sisters, we ask you to recognize the value of those who work hard among you—those who, as followers of the Lord, care for you and tell you how to live. 13 Show them the highest respect and love because of the work they do.
Live in peace with each other.

1 Corinthians 9:11- Give
We planted spiritual seed among you, so we should be able to harvest from you some things for this life. Surely that is not asking too much.

2 Kings 4:8-10 - Giver
8 One day Elisha went to Shunem, where an important woman lived. She asked Elisha to stop and eat at her house. So every time Elisha went through that place, he stopped there to eat.

9 The woman said to her husband, “Look, I can see that Elisha is a holy man of God. He passes by our house all the time. 10 Please, let’s make a little room on the roof[a] for him. Let’s put a bed in this room and a table, a chair, and a lampstand. Then when he comes to our house, he can have this room for himself.”

1 Corinthians 9:14 - Benefit
It is the same with those who have the work of telling the Good News. The Lord has commanded that those who tell the Good News should get their living from this work.

Hebrews 13:7 - Imitate
Remember your leaders. They taught God’s message to you. Remember how they lived and died, and copy their faith.

Esther 4:14 - If you ignore
If you keep quiet now, help and freedom for the Jews will come from another place. But you and your father’s family will all die. And who knows, maybe you have been chosen to be the queen for such a time as this.”

Philippians 4:19 - Provision
My God will use his glorious riches to give you everything you need. He will do this through Christ Jesus.

Galatians 6:9 - Harvest
We must not get tired of doing good. We will receive our harvest of eternal life at the right time. We must not give up.

Jeremiah 3:15 - Godly shepherd
Then I will give you new rulers who will be faithful to me. They will lead you with knowledge and understanding.

Numbers 6:24-26 - God will bless you

Habits/Bad habits
Does not make a practice of sinning
I John 3:9
Those who are God’s children do not continue to sin, because the new life God gave them stays in them. They cannot keep sinning, because they have become children of God.

Bad habits deserve no mercy
Deuteronomy 12:2-3
2 You will take that land from the nations that live there now. You must completely destroy all the places where the people of these nations worship their gods. These places are on high mountains, on hills, and under green trees.
3 You must smash their altars and break their memorial stones into pieces. You must burn their Asherah poles and cut down the statues of their gods. Wipe out everything that would remind you of those gods.

Exodus 23:13
Be sure that you obey all these laws. Don’t worship false gods. You should not even speak their names!

Fill your life with good habits.
Titus 2:7
You should be an example for them in every way by the good things you do. When you teach, be honest and serious.

2 Corinthians 8:8
I am not ordering you to give, but I want to see how real your love is by comparing you with others who have been so ready and willing to help.

Form the habit of focusing your thoughts on good things. Philippians 4:8
Brothers and sisters, continue to think about what is good and worthy of praise. Think about what is true and honorable and right and pure and beautiful and respected.

What good habits can we start and maintain?

Practice Giving
Deuteronomy 14:22
Every year you must be sure to save one-tenth of all the crops that grow in your fields.

Read and worship
Luke 4:16
Jesus traveled to Nazareth, the town where he grew up. On the Sabbath day he went to the synagogue as he always did. He stood up to read.

Prayer is a valuable habit
Matthew 6:5
When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites. They love to stand in the synagogues and on the street corners and pray loudly. They want people to see them. The truth is, that’s all the reward they will get.

If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

I will help you
Isaiah 41:10
So don't worry, because I am with you. Don’t be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and help you. I will support you withmy right hand that saves you.

Just be silent
Exodus 14:14 You will only need to remain calm. The Lord will fight for you.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, Don’t depend on your own understanding.
6 Remember the Lord in everything you do. And He will give you success.

Commit your way to the Lord
Psalm 37:5 Depend on the Lord. Trust Him, and he will take care of you.

Therefore do not throw away your confidence
Hebrews 10:35
So do not lose the courage that you had in the past. It has a great reward.

The Lord is the upholder of my life.
Psalm 54:4
See, God will help me.
The Lord will spare my life.

When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears
Psalm 34:17
The Lord hears good people when they cry out to him. He saves them from all their troubles.

The Lord is on my side ….
Psalm 118:7 The Lord is with me to help me. I will see my enemies defeated.

A stronghold in times of trouble.
Psalm 9:9 The Lord defends those who suffer. He protects them in times of trouble.

He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.
Psalm 107:20
God gave the command and healed them. So they were save from dying.

Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him, and he helps me.

Kaya naman inaanyayahan kita na manood at makinig sa ating online church service bukas, Friday, 19th March at 4:00 p.m. (Kuwait time) or 9:00 p.m. (Pinas time)

Huwag mo sanang palagpasain ang pagkakataon na makilala mo nang lubos ang ating Diyos na buhay na may kapangyarihan magpala sayo.

Isaiah 57:1-2
"1 Ang taong matuwid kapag namamatay,
walang nakakaunawa at walang nakikialam;
ngunit siya'y kinukuha upang iligtas sa kapahamakan.
2 Mapayapa ang buhay,
ng taong lumalakad sa katuwiran
kahit siya'y mamatay."

Ilan lang ito sa mga pangako ng Panginoong Hesus na matutunan nating lahat sa pakikinig at panonood sa ating online church service. Kaya patuloy namin kayong inaanyayahan na dumalo, every Friday and Sunday at 4:00p.m. Kuwait time o 9:00p.m. Pinas time.
