Good morning. Today we gather for prayer and fellowship at church. Join us and take time in God's presence. Prayer builds faith. Prayer brings peace during pressure. Prayer gives strength for daily life. When believers pray together, hearts grow strong and hope rises.

There is a quiet strength that comes from bending a knee. In our busy world, we often try to solve everything with our own hands and our own logic, forgetting that we have a direct line to the Creator of the universe. Prayer is our invitation to step into that peace.

Building to Last Discipleship | Prayer & Bible Study

January – February – March
Mahaboula | 6:00–8:00 PM

Are you part of a Life Group yet?
Today we’ll be diving into two powerful portions of Scripture:

Gospel of Matthew 16
Epistle to the Colossians 2

We will read, discuss, share, and learn together.

In these passages, we see a striking parallel between two worlds: A religious Christian world And the true life Christ calls us to live

The light from these Scriptures has the power to transform your walk with God—bringing you into a life that reflects His glory and makes you truly the light of the world, for the praise and honor of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Something to ponder before you come:
What was the “yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees” that Jesus warned about?

The Apostle Paul addresses similar issues in Colossians 2.

Could I be living like a Pharisee without realizing it?

This is not about examining others—it’s about allowing Scripture to examine me. It’s about adjusting my identity in Christ and becoming more like Him. Perhaps not just me—maybe you too.

See you on the hour.

Blessings,
Ps Josh

Are you part of a life group yet?

If not, what is holding you back from being part of a fellowship? Is this a cost we are unwilling to pay as followers of Christ?

It is often more convenient to walk alone—doing life on our own terms. But when we choose isolation, are we truly doing the will of God? What is God’s will for you and for every child of God? And what does it cost to obey Him?
Is our Christianity a lived-out faith—or merely talk?

A relationship with Christ, or just a religious routine?
Let’s dig into Scripture together and discover what the Lord has to say.

Key Scriptures:
Luke 14:25–34 — The cost of being a disciple
Matthew 16:21–28 — The call of the discipler
Colossians 1 & 2 — Both perspectives: discipler and disciple

Our Focus:
👉 The cost of being a disciple

As I reflect on these passages, I see many opportunities for growth in our faith and obedience.
Recently, I watched a video highlighting the gradual falling away of Christians from mega churches in the USA. I believe that in these last days, the Holy Spirit is calling us to be serious—focused on the mission Jesus gave us: to make disciples and teach them to obey, not to settle for short doses of positive vibes once a week.

Let’s build something that lasts.

See you on the hour.

Ps Josh
