Building to Last Discipleship | Prayer & Bible Study
January – February – March
Mahaboula | 6:00–8:00 PM
Are you part of a life group yet?
If not, what is holding you back from being part of a fellowship? Is this a cost we are unwilling to pay as followers of Christ?
It is often more convenient to walk alone—doing life on our own terms. But when we choose isolation, are we truly doing the will of God? What is God’s will for you and for every child of God? And what does it cost to obey Him?
Is our Christianity a lived-out faith—or merely talk?
A relationship with Christ, or just a religious routine?
Let’s dig into Scripture together and discover what the Lord has to say.
Key Scriptures:
Luke 14:25–34 — The cost of being a disciple
Matthew 16:21–28 — The call of the discipler
Colossians 1 & 2 — Both perspectives: discipler and disciple
Our Focus:
👉 The cost of being a disciple
As I reflect on these passages, I see many opportunities for growth in our faith and obedience.
Recently, I watched a video highlighting the gradual falling away of Christians from mega churches in the USA. I believe that in these last days, the Holy Spirit is calling us to be serious—focused on the mission Jesus gave us: to make disciples and teach them to obey, not to settle for short doses of positive vibes once a week.
Let’s build something that lasts.
See you on the hour.
