The Corinthian believers were arguing that, since their bodies will return to dust anyway, whatever they did with them didn’t matter. Paul corrects them: not everything they think permissible is beneficial, and their bodies are meant for the Lord.

Although we have freedom in Christ, our choices should be made to please Him. Since we are united with Christ and will be raised with Him, we must honor Him with our bodies in all we do.

Human arguments, intellectual debates, or persuasive speech alone cannot lead someone to faith. True understanding requires the work of the Holy Spirit.

Those who have received the Spirit share in the mind of Christ. In all that we do, let us remain close to the Lord, allowing our thoughts, words, and actions to be led by His Spirit and reflect His mind.

Consider whether your thoughts, words, and actions have been reflecting the mind of Christ.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me the mind of Christ through Your Spirit.
Guide me to rely on You so that I may continue to see, understand, and discern
