Dear friends far and near. It has been a pleasure and honor to serve Seoul Union Church as her Pastor these past years. We have seen hearts surrendered to Christ, growth in both faith and attendance, new life, excitement, and energy into the ministry of the church, and a genuine desire with action to reach out both locally and globally. However, my work as the Lead Pastor of SUCh is done and I will preach my last message this Sunday, January 24, 2016. I will pray for God's continued blessing, guidance, and leadership to care for the ministry of SUCh. Join me in praying for God to bring the next leader/s to carry on what His desire is next. As you know, SUCh has an amazing 130 year history, and I am grateful for all who have served her so faithfully through those years. Blessings to you and blessings to SUCh. Pastor Jeff Oakes

So grateful to SUCh! Continuing to pursue our 2015 mission to "Empty Ourselves" for the cause of Christ! Not only have we given to and participated with our regular local and overseas ministries, but we have responded in so many additional ways as well; Window of Hope (Nepal), Mars Hill, Oak Tree Project, The Voice of the Martyrs, and missions trips. Together, we make a difference!

Great things happening at SUCh. Here is a run down of what is going down :)
1) AIM combined Good Friday service this Friday night, 7:30pm.
2) Men's Hang-Time Saturday morning, 8:30am, Hollys Coffee, Sinchon.
3) University ministry outreach Saturday night, showing "Passion of the Christ", 7pm, Yonsei.
4) Easter Sunday service, 10-11:15am. Special drama and music, Kidz Chat, Praise, Cross decorating, message, all followed up with an Easter egg hunt for the kids!

We celebrate Mission Sunday at SUCh this week! We will host a few of the local (South Korean) missionaries and agencies that we support through our financial giving and other means. We will also have a good old-fashioned church "pot-luck" immediately after the service. Bring food and snack items to share if you can :-) All are welcome! SUCh believes in, supports, and is committed to mission work and happy to partner in local and foreign missions.
