Buddhist era 2600 celebration project European scholars came to realize that the Buddhism, rather than christianity, to be the oldest Universa(istic) religion.

The origin of Buddhism was uniquely and exclusively tied to one individual, Buddha and to his Revolutionary spiritual Dhamma. Buddha's rejection of the Vedas, the sacred books of the "Brahnanists", was counted among the most important of his founding Revolutionary deeds. Christianity -its universality- have been derived(copy) from Buddhism.
