🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸
As we celebrate the Fourth of July and recognize the U.S. Army's 250 years of service, we give thanks for the people who have faithfully served our nation with courage, honor and sacrifice.

While we celebrate our nation's history and the freedoms we enjoy, we are reminded that our greatest hope is not found in God alone.

Through every generation, He remains faithful, sovereign and in control.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." — Psalm 33:12

Today, let us pray for our nation, our military, our leaders and our communities. May we continue to seek God's wisdom, pursue peace and place our trust in the One who reigns forever.

Yesterday, we celebrated Father’s Day by honoring the men God has called to lead, serve and leave a legacy of faith.

Through the message “I Was Built for This,” we were reminded that God created us with purpose and identity through four areas:

🔹 Divine Identity – Know who God created you to be.
🔹 Built for Dominion – Lead and steward what God has placed in your hands.
🔹 God’s Presence – Stay connected to the One who gives strength and purpose.
🔹 Leave a Legacy – Pass down faith, prayer, worship, and righteousness to the next generation.

You were built to stand firm. Built to lead. Built to serve. Built to leave a godly legacy.

You were built for this.

In the Stillness He Speaks 🤫🗣️🌫️
We need to be reminded that sometimes we have to quiet the noise to truly hear the voice of God.

In the silence, God still spoke. His voice is never passive. Even in the midst of hatefulness, darkness, anger, confusion, weakness and imperfection, God continues calling His people.

Many believe they have to be perfect to be used by God, but His grace is sufficient. His strength is made perfect in weakness — that is part of the process of sanctification.

Sometimes we must posture ourselves with humility and surrender to the stillness to discern what He is saying. The voice of culture brings confusion, but the voice of God brings clarity. It brings purpose.

Buried does not mean forgotten.
God has not abandoned you.
He is still working on you.
And He still has purpose attached to your life.

“Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.” — 1 Samuel 3:9

Refined for the Calling ⚒️
Sometimes it’s about the journey. Sometimes it’s about the destination. And sometimes—it’s both. In this case, it’s both.

For more than a year, a select group of God’s people committed themselves to the sacred journey of ordination. Ordination is not an easy process. It requires countless hours of studying the Word, counseling, reflection, discipline, and consecration.

Each person endured the crushing process—but it was never meant to break them. It was meant to build them. Though the process is painful and difficult, there is beauty in being refined. In those moments, you learn that God is the only one you can fully depend on.

As Romans 5:3–4 (KJV) reminds us: “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope.”

Being a pastor, minister, deacon, or deaconess is far more than carrying a title—it is carrying a mantle. It means understanding that you are not only part of a spiritual community, but also entrusted with the responsibility of helping build and lead one.

Congratulations to all who have been ordained! Your journey is only beginning. Now let’s hear those sermons!
