A king does not win because of his powerful army; a soldier does not triumph because of his strength. War horses are useless for victory; their great strength cannot save. The LORD watches over those who obey him, those who trust in his constant love. He saves them from death; he keeps them alive in times of famine. We put our hope in the LORD; he is our protector and our help. We are glad because of him; we trust in his holy name. May your constant love be with us, LORD, as we put our hope in you.

With COVID numbers rising and falling and rising again, it’s good to be reminded that God never takes His eyes off what is happening here on planet earth.
When we seek Him with our whole heart and listen for His voice, He will instruct, teach and guide us as we continue our life journey.
Until you are back home with your Heavenly Father, He will “counsel you with His loving eye on you.”

Imagine putting your mouth over a fire hydrant and trying to catch all the water, without missing a drop. Impossible! Right? Well that is what the Apostle Paul means in Ro. 5:5 when he says that God’s love is poured out to you.
Even during hard times, times of suffering, God is still pouring out His love into us. Because through suffering we build perseverance and through perseverance we build character and through character we are given hope. And this hope does not disappoint because God's love has been poured out into our hearts.
Lord thank you that your love flows continually in and through our hearts. Help us Lord to not stop the flow, Amen!

As the angel told Mary that God intended her to bear His Son, the angel proclaimed, “Nothing will be impossible with God.” Lord, You are never hindered by anything. The things on our minds, the things in our hearts that are beyond our abilities to see how they can be fixed, can be fixed by You. Nothing is impossible with You, God! You see things differently than we do, and so You bring about things in ways we could never conceive—all for our good and Your glory. May You be put on display, Lord, in Your works, plans, purposes, Word, and ways!

Enemies in your trial? Trouble on every hand? Have you been there before? Are you there now? God says to you and me, " seek my face and trust Me".

God is our Deliverer and Defender. Psalm 45:15 says that “the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.” No matter what is happening in your life, the call is to TRUST GOD! "Trust Me, Trust Me" is God’s response to His people today. “I am with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. I will fight your battles, so trust me!”

Lord all battles were already won on your crucifixion cross when you said, “It is finished!” Thank you Lord, thank you for we fight all our battles FROM VICTORY not TO VICTORY, Amen!

“People will be selfish and love money. They will brag, be arrogant, and use abusive language. They will curse their parents, show no gratitude, have no respect for what is holy, and lack normal affection for their families. They will refuse to make peace with anyone. They will be slanderous, lack self-control, be brutal, and have no love for what is good. They will be traitors. They will be reckless and conceited. They will love pleasure rather than God” (2 Tim. 3: 1-4).

The above scripture is the perfect biblical description of exactly what is happening to our world today. This is the world that the next generation is going to inherit. This is the reason why our world needs Jesus.

We live in a world where everything revolves around “me”, what I need, what I want, what I feel, what is mine, and what offends me.
Only Jesus can change this love of self. Lord make me an Andrew who is always introducing people to Jesus, Amen!

Delight is a feeling of very great pleasure. Synonyms include enjoyment, happiness, joy, glee, and gladness. What if we looked to God as our main source of delight? What if we stopped trying to find, create or choose delight in the things of the world and we simply spent more time with the Source of all delight? Lord Jesus you are the source of my delight. The delight of my heart is to know you better and deeper. Help me Lord for I am not strong. Amen!

To be more than conquerors means we face the trials of life with the certainty that we are not alone. We have a mighty Father who fights for us. We approach the darkest valleys with confidence, knowing that nothing can happen to us that is not permitted by our loving Father for our good. We have God’s promise of eternal life and His presence every moment of every day until we see Him face to face. No sin of ours and no attempt of the enemy can steal the loving care of God from our lives, and that makes us more than conquerors through Christ who loves us.
