महाशिवरात्रि भगवान भगवान शिव की आराधना का सबसे पवित्र पर्व माना जाता है। यह पर्व फाल्गुन मास की कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुर्दशी को मनाया जाता है। इस दिन शिवभक्त उपवास रखते हैं, रात्रि-जागरण करते हैं और शिवलिंग पर जल, दूध, बेलपत्र आदि अर्पित करते हैं।

🔱 1. आध्यात्मिक महत्व
महाशिवरात्रि आत्मशुद्धि और आत्मज्ञान का पर्व है। मान्यता है कि इस दिन सच्चे मन से शिव भक्ति करने से पापों का नाश होता है और मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है।

🔱 2. शिव-पार्वती विवाह
धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार इस दिन माता पार्वती और भगवान शिव का विवाह हुआ था। इसलिए यह दिन दांपत्य सुख और प्रेम का भी प्रतीक है।

🔱 3. तांडव और सृष्टि
कहा जाता है कि इसी रात भगवान शिव ने सृष्टि के संतुलन हेतु तांडव नृत्य किया था, जो सृजन, पालन और संहार का प्रतीक है।

🔱 4. व्रत और जागरण का महत्व
रात्रि भर "ॐ नमः शिवाय" का जाप और ध्यान करने से मन की शुद्धि होती है और नकारात्मक ऊर्जा दूर होती है।

महाशिवरात्रि हमें यह सिखाती है कि जीवन में संयम, भक्ति और सत्य का मार्ग अपनाकर हम अपने भीतर के अज्ञान को दूर कर सकते हैं।

I was honoured to meet Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India, at his office in New Delhi.

The interaction was warm, thoughtful, and deeply meaningful, extending for over an hour. We discussed leadership, public service, and the larger vision of nation-building, with a special focus on the growth and investment potential of India’s Ports, Shipping and Waterways sector. Shri Sonowal shared the vision, achievements, and collective efforts of his ministry in strengthening India’s maritime infrastructure and enhancing global connectivity.

We also exchanged perspectives on how conscious leadership, inner clarity, and balanced decision-making play an important role in driving sustainable growth and innovation. I shared insights on meditation, mindfulness, and maintaining harmony between professional responsibilities and personal well-being, which are essential for long-term success in public life.
