Three years later…

On February, 28th 2019 I landed in Siem Reap. Three years later and this country still has my heart 🇰🇭.

Of course I did some reflecting on what these last few years have taught me. It’s a very long list 😳. Basically, it goes a little something like this…

1. God’s plan is so much more than I can imagine (Jeremiah 29:11)
2. His timing is perfect (Galatians 6:9)
3. All things are working out for my good (Romans 8:28)
4. God cares more about my heart than my work (Proverbs 4:23)
5. The Word of God is life (John 1:4)

I know it all sounds so simple. Just statements that you’ve likely heard over and over again. But maybe that’s why we hear them over and over again, they are the conclusions that all who have lived a life following after God come to over time (probably many times over). Maybe they are lessons you have to learn by living but if my living it can help you at all, I will pass on all I know and this list is a pretty good start.

And just like that, a new year is here.

We took lots of usies and for the first time in what feels like forever we got to walk around this city we love so much.

This was a very cool moment for me!

I’ve been a big fan of the for many years but I never thought I would benefit from the “global” aspect of it.

Now, here I am at my 7th summit and it’s in Cambodia 🇰🇭🥰 with my amazing team 🥳.

I am so grateful that I get to share this with them and watch how they too will be inspired to grow in their leadership 🙌🏻.

Made a new friend in Phnom Penh today! Chanthea was a lovely host for us, American girls, at the Daughters of Cambodia visitor center where we learned more about this amazing organization 🤗.⁠
