Longing and Renewal at Bambujaya: The "Filled" Campus Retreat—A Journey in Pursuit of the "Filling of the Holy Spirit"
As the 2026 new semester began, the Bambujaya campus welcomed a three-day retreat themed "Filled."
The retreat specially invited Teacher Christian De Los Santos, a graduate of Hartland College in the USA, as the main speaker. Having worked deeply in youth ministry and gospel outreach for many years, he possesses a keen understanding of the inner desires and confusion of today's young people. Over the three days, he focused closely on the core theme of the "Filling of the Holy Spirit." Avoiding lofty preaching, he used profound words that resonated deeply, enlightening us that true spiritual life does not come through self-improvement but requires being completely filled by the Holy Spirit from above.
The Love of Fellowship, Witnessing Mutual Renewal
Beyond the inspiring main sessions, the specially designed group studies and Q&A times were also a vital part of this retreat. In a relaxed and sincere atmosphere, everyday "classmates" became "companions on the journey." Gathering together, everyone shared their inspirations and also opened up about their struggles. In witnessing one another's testimonies, we saw "renewal" take place firsthand.
Not an Ending, But a Starting Point for Life
During this retreat, we sought with one accord and earnestly prayed for the filling of the Holy Spirit. We are grateful to Teacher Christian De Los Santosfor his heartfelt sharing, which has lit a lamp on the path of the students' growth. We especially thank every teacher and student who participated—your focused eyes, your sincere tears and laughter, are the warmest testament on this campus.
The retreat has concluded. May we, with our renewed lives, embark afresh with abundant strength.
