2nd Mile Church 2nd Mile Church is a church of different cultures and traditions, coming together to follow Jesus thr 2nd Mile is a church. We are a community.

And you are more than welcome to join us! A group of Jesus’ lovers, and we’re passionate about being a church in Cambodia. We love the Bible, God’s word. We seek to understand it more, not just letters & words, but we desire to know the divine Author better. We are a group of people that love each other, show interest in each other, and help each other cope with the difficulties of life that we fa

ce. We are a family of different people. Young, old, single, married, men and women, different cultural backgrounds, and yet, one family in Christ. We love children and we believe that they are central to the church as a whole. We run a good quality children program. We value differences as we believe that this does reflect the enormous riches of the true God that we serve. We ponder and seek to know Him better and we are encouraged to take steps of faith in our daily lives. We serve together as we all seek for ways to pour our gifts & talents out for the benefit of the church. We value generosity. Yes, also in terms of money, but even more in sharing our lives with each other. When we come together it might look like this:

10:00 - We gather around coffee and some snacks (or sometimes home-made delicious creations) and enjoy being together.
10:45 - We together seek God in worship, singing our praises to Him together.
11:’something’ - We celebrate communion together and remember what He did for us on the cross. After communion our children join a Sunday-school-program. As adults we stay together for prayer, listening to God’s word, sharing (what we’ve named open-MIC), or even some more creative things.
12:’something-but-before-30’ - We wrap up our service together, always allowing time for some more time together.

A really great gathering yesterday for the Second Mile relaunch! Gateway2Khmer hosted us for the afternoon in Gateway House, a beautiful and flexible venue, and we heard from Olivia on the complexity, difficulty, and power of forgiveness, and from Leon on lessons we can take from the early church on what it means to be a church. A number of us went to dinner together at Orchidee restaurant after the service.

If you'd like to join us next Sunday, we'll be on Level 7 of Gateway House again, starting at 4:00pm.

2nd Mile is meeting for a new start, at a new time, in a new building. We are excited to welcome you. See you on Sunday, March 8th at 4 pm!

We have started our abbreviated summer schedule.

We have a regular, planned service only on the 1st, 3rd, & 5th Sundays from May through the end of August.

On 2nd & 4th Sundays, those who want to fellowship can arrange to meet up in whatever way they want - catching up over coffee or lunch, having a Bible study, watching a teaching video, etc.

Note: In June we are meeting on the 2nd & 4th Sundays due to the Women’s Retreat on the 1st weekend.

We've put together a Whatsapp group for people who want to get together on the 2nd & 4th Sundays to be able to connect & plan. Send us a message if you want to be added to the list.

Here are the Sundays we will meet:
• May- 5, 19
• June- 9, 23 (Skipped the 1st Sunday in June due to Women’s Retreat)
• July- 7, 21
• August- 4, 18

We will return to weekly services in September.

Last week Courtney led us through a corporate discovery time over the Biblical idea of "Calling." Thanks, Courtney, for sharing from your own journey of discovery over this topic and giving us space to dive into it together.

This week Leon got us back into our series on the life of David, preaching from 1 Samuel 25. With the power failure it became an "unplugged" message with a very slight breeze that was much appreciated.
