Who We Are

The foundation of Cornerstone Church first came to be in June of 2010 when Rogil and Janice Apostol moved from their home in the Philippines to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Their hearts were burdened especially for the young people in Cambodia; they saw a need for education by empowering them through literacy would help the young adults to get secure and life-changing jobs in the future. Only a month later, Janice and Rogil began to teach English classes free of charge in their home for 20 students who attended a nearby University. This humble beginning birthed what we now know as Cornerstone Church on May 2011 and the NGO The Cornerstone Organization, Cambodia on September 2012.
