Last week we partnered with a team from Glad Tidings Church in Burlington, ON. The team was split three ways, allowing us to minister alongside more communities, churches and Global. These ministries are already doing a fantastic job reaching their community, and it was a privilege to be able to serve with them.

The team, sometimes sick and battling through heat, served with humility and curiosity.

Here are some of the things they were involved in : VBS ministry, tutoring program, English classes, music ministry, art programming, sports, sharing testimonies, Alpha, biblical teaching etc. We saw over 1000 children between the two weekends and great relationships were made at global student center.

We are believing for fruit among the seeds planted, watered, and harvested.

Thanks for coming Glad Tidings church!

Today we start a two day training on “Building a Trauma-Informed Ministry”. We have a professional here from Canada who comes to us with lots of experience in the area of working with people from very hard situations globally.

This is something I’m really interested in. How do we walk alongside those who are hurting with care and compassion? Plus I have a 100 more practical questions.

I’m excited to have over 70 workers join today from various denominations and ministries across the city.

I’ll put my top takeaways here on Sunday when we are finished!

Today marks the start of year 15 for us here in Cambodia. We’ve had the highs and lows that would come with raising a family, relationships and marriage…but honestly, we’ve loved Cambodia and its people. We love the ministries God has given us and the friends, workers and supporters who we walk with.

While reflecting on our time here this weekend I’m thankful for Ian and all the ways we support and compliment each other in God’s mission. I know he would say the same of me 🤩

We look forward to 15 more!

Thank you for all who have loved us deeply, cheered us on loudly, prayed for us fervently, and supported us sacrificially. We could not do this without you.

And I’m so thankful for the Lord who continues to open the eyes of my heart to know the depth of who He is and who I am in Him.
