The Lutheran Church in Cambodia (LCC) Annual General Meeting, under the theme “Walking Together in God’s Mission and Service: Building Relationships, Strengthening Faith, and Transforming Communities,” was a time of great joy, hope, thanksgiving, and renewed commitment to God’s mission.

Congratulations to the newly elected LCC Administration Committee, entrusted by the Assembly to serve the Church:

* Mrs. Nhoung Sokheng – Director
* Ms. Bopha – Administrator
* Rev. Yin Dara – Finance

We also warmly welcome Mrs. Hay Sopheurn as a new member of the LCC Council.

During the closing worship, the four elected leaders were installed into their respective offices by Bishop Sreyleak in the presence of the Assembly. We pray that God will grant them wisdom, humility, and faithfulness as they carry out the ministries entrusted to them for the building up of Christ’s Church.

Bishop Sreyleak also led the Assembly in reflecting on the LCC’s strategic direction and discerning God’s leading as we plan the next steps in our shared ministry.

The AGM concluded with prayers for one another and the celebration of Holy Communion, where we were reminded that Christ unites us, strengthens our faith, and sends us out to participate in His mission.

We thank God for His faithfulness as the Lutheran Church in Cambodia (LCC) holds its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2025–2026 from 24–25 July.

On the first day, 35 participants gathered to reflect on God’s faithfulness even in challenging times through an inspiring message shared by Ps. Mark Schultz (LCA). We were also blessed by a meaningful workshop on “The Essence of the Church” led by Rev. Andrew Thinagaran (LCS).

One of the most encouraging moments was hearing the stories of what God is doing through each LCC congregation and ministry. These testimonies remind us of His faithfulness and the many ways He continues to transform lives and communities.

Please keep us in your prayers as we gather for the second day tomorrow. Pray that God will grant us a spirit of unity, wisdom, and love as we continue our fellowship together.

We especially ask for your prayers for the election of one LCC Council member and the re-election of the Lutheran Association of Cambodia Committee (LAC), which serves as the administrative leadership of LCC. May God guide every step of the process, grant discernment to all delegates, and fill us with renewed hope as we continue His mission together.
