Today, as we celebrate Pastor's 64th birthday, we take this opportunity to express our gratitude for his impact on our lives.

He serves not only as a spiritual leader but also embodies the roles of a father, a friend, and a confidant.

In recent years, circumstances have been exceptionally challenging for many individuals, particularly for our Pastor. In 2021, he experienced a severe case of "long COVID." In 2022, he underwent the amputation of his right foot, followed by the amputation of his left foot in 2023. Additionally, he faced the loss of both his sister and his brother and the passing of the Cervañez couple. Despite these difficult experiences, our dear Pastor has displayed remarkable resilience and commitment, remaining steadfast in his duties and responsibilities.

Our Pastor is not perfect. His imperfections, such as his short temper and being "suplado and sarcastic" sometimes, influenced the development of character among the members. His meticulous attention to detail led to a focus on commitment to executing ministry tasks with high precision and accuracy in the outcomes achieved. As a result, the church has become a significant provider of workers and missionaries to various regions around the world. Although our church may appear small in number, the former members are now actively engaged in spreading the gospel.

Above all, the spiritual insights we have gained from our Pastor cannot be converted into material gain. Instead, we will continue to be a light to our colleagues, friends, and family and bring them to the Lord. The training and constant reminders have truly shaped us into better individuals. We are very grateful to our Creator for giving us Pastor Rainier and assigning him to take care of the flocks of Bethany Baptist Church Phnom Penh. We appreciate his willingness to share in our moments of pain, sorrow, and victory. His attentive listening comforts us, and his generous material gifts genuinely show how much he cares.

Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers, Pastor Rainier. Your heartfelt support means a lot to us.
