Mercy Village December Newsletter 2025
“God’s faithfulness and His loving hand”
Dear brothers and sisters in the Lord Happy New Year to you and your loved ones. May the Lord Most High cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
Today is the last day of 2025. I see God’s moving hand and how He is orchestrating our lives and His ministry in the way that we can’t comprehend and understand. Most of the time, we would ask “WHY” at first we didn’t get why this happened to me, but all we know God is in control and He knows what’s best for you and me so that we can be a blessing to many around us. All we must do is to keep Trusting the One who knows all things, who sees all things and who is able to make Impossible things to Passible.

Every last day of the year, I normally spend time alone praying and reflecting on what the Lord has done and has been doing the whole year and praying for the new year coming. This morning, I am so blessed to have three of my staff joined with me. Four of us read through the Word, reflected back what the Lord has done, led and met every need. We gave thanks to God through prayer and through His word with a grateful heart. God has been so faithful to us all.
This morning at the college, during the worship I cried when I thought about His goodness and His faithfulness during this year which I don’t deserve. I shared with the college students and asked them to give One thing they have learnt or been through and would like to share with us. Many have shared and then one college girl ,she’s not a believer yet. She told us, it’s been a stressful year. So we all prayed for her right away. Knowing that Jesus loves and cares for her. Sometime, what many people have been through, as you all might know, is the Conflict between Thailand and Cambodia. All I know is God is in control. We have been praying for God's peace in the world we live in.
The Christmas Feeding Program has been a big blessing to many. We shared with local Pastors in the remote villages who love and serve God faithfully. Battambang Province with 4 pastors who are in need. We sent 400 Christmas Boxes including some funds for the food for each place. Komgong Province with 6 local pastors, Takeo with 3 places, Kbong Khmum and Prey Veng Province and also Mercy Village, Bamboo and Takong villages. When I look back I see God’s faithfulness and loving hand. He has been using your hearts and hands to reach out through your faithful prayer and financial support you made every month which we are so thankful to God for you.
When I read and meditated in the book of Philippians 4:18 Paul said “Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.” When I read this verse, I thought of you! You are like Epaphroditus to Paul and you to us, to the Work of God through Mercy Village that He entrusted us and called us to do. Please know that, we are so grateful to each one of you dear supporters. You are a big blessing to many. Please continue to do so for this coming year 2026, for your prayer and your support are appreciated and encourage us to keep moving. Thank you!. I am praying for you and for us here doing the front line. May the Lord grow us deeper in His love, draw us near and closer to Him through His Holy Spirit and His word and even through the storm and fire or through the trials. To God be glorified.
