The world is in a sad state. People have become callous & hearts hardened. They’re more argumentative & often on edge. Swear words are the norm & good speech considered boring. Mental health, depression, anxiety have become buzz words. We desperately need compassion & empathy.

* We are the last generation that played bare foot and never got injuries

* We are the last generation that would play in rains and never got sick and end bathroom duties

* We are the last generation that shared a bottle of Coca-Cola the whole family and without straws & never contracted infections

* We are the last generation that would go out in woods to play but would sneak back home late and safe

*. We are the last generation that ate chocolates and sweets and we would never gain weight

* We are the last generation that did our homework in moonlight without the help of our parents .

* We are the last generation that would ride bicycles many kilometers without helmets and never got hurt

* We are the last generation that would take painkillers whenever we got sick of malaria and it would go away in two days

* We are the last generation that would take porridge & a piece of roasted or boiled maize only during lunch time and we would still concentrate in class
