My father is a man of principles, solid and unshakable,
He raised us with a Bible in one hand and a whip in the otherđ
Mornings began with compulsory greetings and then prayers, not optional. He didnât just teach us âspare the rod and spoil the child," he believed in demonstrationsđ To him, discipline wasnât punishment; it was âcharacter development with immediate feedback.â
But donât get it twisted, everything he did came from a deep place of love and conviction. He didnât just talk about righteousness; he enforced it like a one-man court of law. If you lied, you met justice. If you disobeyed, you experienced correction. And if you tried to argue, well, thatâs when both the Bible and the whip got involved.
Looking back, we laugh now. Because somehow, through all the strictness, the lectures, and those unforgettable âlessons,â he raised us to stand straight, speak truth, and fear God and also to run very fast when necessaryđ
A principled man indeed! What an unforgettable childhood legend! I love you dad.
