๐ƒ๐ž๐š๐ซ ๐‹๐จ๐ซ๐,

Thank You for the gift of this new day and for Your loving presence, grace, guidance, and protection. Thank You for walking with us through every moment and for the blessings You continually pour into our lives.

Lord Jesus, todayโ€™s Gospel teaches us the importance of reconciliation, forgiveness, and caring for one another. Help us to have the courage to lovingly correct those who have hurt us, without anger or judgment. Give us humble hearts that are willing to listen, forgive, and seek peace. May we never allow resentment to divide us, but always strive to restore broken relationships with love and understanding. Remind us that whenever we gather in Your name, You are truly present among us.

As we honour ๐’๐š๐ข๐ง๐ญ ๐„๐ฅ๐ž๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฌ, ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ฒ๐ซ, strengthen our faith and courage to remain faithful witnesses to You.

SATURDAY EVENING PRAYER, 5th Sept 2026.

Dear Lord,

As this day comes to an end, I thank You for Your loving presence and for the grace to journey through another day. Forgive me for the times I have allowed rules, judgments, or outward appearances to become more important than compassion and love. Teach me, like Your disciples, to trust Your wisdom and to understand that human needs are never forgotten in Your sight.

Lord, I thank You for the inspiring witness of ๐’๐š๐ข๐ง๐ญ ๐Œ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐“๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐š ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‚๐š๐ฅ๐œ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ญ๐š, who served You by loving and caring for the poorest and most forgotten. Give me her generous heart, humble spirit, and readiness to serve others.

Tonight, fill my heart with mercy, peace, and love. May I rest knowing that You are Lord of every day and every moment.

Thank You for the gift of this day and for Your loving presence, guidance, mercy, and protection. Thank You for sustaining us in every moment and for providing what we need each day.

Lord Jesus, odayโ€™s Gospel teaches us that You are Lord of the Sabbath and that Godโ€™s commandments are rooted in love and compassion. Help us not to become focused only on rules and appearances, but to understand the deeper meaning of Your teachings. Give us hearts that recognise the needs of others and respond with kindness, mercy, and understanding.

As we honour ๐’๐š๐ข๐ง๐ญ ๐Œ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐“๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐š ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‚๐š๐ฅ๐œ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ญ๐š, inspire us to serve the poor, comfort the suffering, and see Your presence in every person we meet. BRIEF HOMILY: 23rd SUN IN O.T YR A, 6th Sept 2026.

THEME; THE SENTRY OF LOVE

Reading I:
Ez 33:7โ€“9
God appoints the prophet as a sentry, giving us a shared duty to look out for one another's moral and spiritual well-being.

Res. Psalm;
Ps 95:1-2, 6-9
We are invited to soften our hearts for the glory of God.

Reading II:
Rom 13:8โ€“10
St. Paul reminds us that love is the fulfillment of the lawโ€”love does no evil to a neighbor.

Gospel;
Mat 18:15โ€“20
Jesus outlines "fraternal correction," teaching us to address faults privately with love first, rather than gossiping or turning a blind eye, and promising His presence when two or three gather in His name.

Peace!

Prayer;
Lord Jesus, give us the courage to speak the truth in love and the humility to receive correction. Heal our fractured relationships, and make our communities living signs of Your mercy. Amen.

FRIDAY EVENING PRAYER, 4th Sept 2026.

Dear Lord,

As night falls, I come before You like the wedding guests who linger in Your presence, knowing the Bridegroom is with us still. Forgive me for the times I have feasted on worldly distractions while forgetting to hunger for You alone. Teach me to fast from sin and selfishness, even as I celebrate Your boundless mercy.

I give thanks for ๐’๐š๐ข๐ง๐ญ ๐‘๐จ๐ฌ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐š, ๐๐š๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ๐จ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐ข๐œ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ, who withdrew to the caves and wilderness to seek You in solitude. Like her, may I find quiet spaces in my noisy heart where Your voice can be heard clearly. When the Bridegroom seems hidden, strengthen my faith to wait in hopeful vigil.

Tonight, I embrace both the joy of Your nearness and the call to penance. Prepare my soul for the days of longing, and let my life be a prayer that rises like incense before Your throne. May I never lose sight of the new w**e of Your covenant, bursting with eternal life.

Lord Jesus, todayโ€™s Gospel reminds us that You are the Bridegroom who brings newness, joy, and life into our hearts. Teach us not to become bound by outward appearances or old ways, but to welcome the new life You offer us. Help us to grow in faith, prayer, love, and obedience, keeping our hearts open to Your grace.

THURSDAY EVENING PRAYER, 3rd Sept 2026.

Dear Lord,

Tonight, I come to You by the shore of my own Gennesaret, where the crowds press in and my nets feel empty and worn.

I confess the weary labor I have done in my own strengthโ€”the fruitless striving, the washing of hands that have yet to truly cast out into the deep at Your word. Forgive me for staying in the shallows when You call me to risk everything for Your Kingdom.

I give thanks for ๐’๐š๐ข๐ง๐ญ ๐†๐ซ๐ž๐ ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐†๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ, ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ƒ๐จ๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‚๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐œ๐ก , who shepherded Your flock with wisdom and humility, reminding us that true greatness is found in service. Like him, may I listen for Your voice and, when You say "Put out into the deep," let down my nets of fear, my doubts, and my excuses in obedient trust.

Tonight, I surrender my empty boat to You. Fill it with Your presence. Let my catch be not of fish, but of souls drawn to Your love. Leave everything behind to follow You.

THURSDAY MORNING PRAYER 3rd Sept 2026

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of this new morning.
Guide my thoughts, words, and actions today.
Fill my heart with peace, faith, and hope.

Lord Jesus, help me to trust You in every situation.
Give me strength when I am weak,
wisdom when I am uncertain,
and courage when I face difficulties.

Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary
and all Your saints,
protect me and my loved ones from every harm.
May Your grace guide us throughout this day
and keep us close to Your loving heart.

May I be a source of kindness, patience,
and love to everyone I meet.

WEDNESDAY EVENING PRAYER, 2nd Sept, 2026.

Loving and Heavenly Father,

As the night is fast approaching l pray that as l climb into bed I may rest my weary soul in You and allow the business of the day to melt away. Help me Lord to find rest in You and as l keep my heart abiding in You.

Lord so many things are changing in my life and at times l feel so lonely as those that are nearest and dearest to me have been taken away from me toโ€“for one reason or another. Lord l know You've promised to be with me every moment of the day and nightโ€“but somehow the night time makes me feel more on my own.

Hold me close Lord Jesus and as l face the long night of darkness l pray that l may sleep securely knowing that You are by my bed every moment of the night.
Thank You that moment by moment I am kept in Your love.

Amen.

Good evening and have a peaceful night ahead little soul!
