NENO LA SIKU

RUDI KILINDINI

Ulijaribu… ukachoka.
Ulifanya bidii… ukaona hakuna matokeo.

Lakini sauti ya Bwana bado inasema:
👉 Rudi tena
👉 Nenda kilindini
👉 Amini neno lake

Mahali ulipokata tamaa ndipo palipojaa muujiza wako.
Usibaki kwenye maji ya kina kifupi—baraka yako iko kilindini!

📖 Luka 5:4–10
“Tega nyavu kilindini…”

📚 ENCOURAGEMENT FOR TODAY 👍

"I May Be a Broken Brick But Am Still important":

> There is a time when builders start searching for BROKEN BRICKS to fill the GAPS to complete their work. Yes some of us are like BROKEN BRICKS, we are IGNORED and thrown out and considered as people of NO VALUE to the world not fit even to serve God. NO ONE SEES YOUR VALUE but a day is coming when some people will go around LOOKING FOR HALF BRICKS to make their work COMPLETE!

> YOU ARE A FORGOTTEN PERSON BECAUSE OF YOUR SITUATION. If you look in scripture, God preferred to use people with WEAKNESSES, people like Moses, David etc to the glory of HIS NAME. Weak as you are, God wants to use you as a child of God. You are BETTER than what people think you are TODAY. You may be a subject of discussion. Somebody could have said something that made you INFERIOR. Don't worry. You are a product of GRACE.

~ When other people are throwing you away as HALF BRICK, there are other people looking for HALF BRICKS to use. Someone is praying to MEET YOU one day. Someone is desperately looking for you. You are NEEDED SOMEWHERE TO FILL THE GAP. You are that half brick!!! Yes you're.

GOD BLESS YOU.. ^

ANGLICANISM

THE PREACHER’S STOLE...

MORE THAN A GARMENT, IT IS A MESSAGE

Many people see the preacher’s stole as just part of church dressing…

But it is far more than that.

The stole is not fashion, it is function, authority, and spiritual symbolism.

And one major mistake many ministers make today is this:

Using only one color for every service.

That is not proper.

WHAT IS THE PREACHER’S STOLE?

The Stole is a sacred vestment worn around the neck, hanging down in front.

It represents:

Authority to minister
The yoke of service
Spiritual responsibility

It is not just worn… it speaks.

THE DIFFERENT COLORS AND THEIR MEANINGS

Every color of the stole carries a message and season:

WHITE
(Purity & Celebration)

Used for:

Christmas
Easter
Weddings
Child dedication

It represents joy, victory, and holiness.

RED
(Power & Sacrifice)

Used for:

Pentecost
Martyrs’ remembrance

It symbolizes the Holy Spirit, fire, and sacrifice.

GREEN
(Growth & Life)

Used for:

Ordinary church days

It represents spiritual growth, life, and stability.

PURPLE
(Repentance & Preparation)

Used for:

Lent
Seasons of fasting and reflection

It speaks of humility, repentance, and preparation.

BLACK
(Mourning & Solemnity)

Used for:

Funerals

It represents grief, reflection, and the reality of mortality.

WHY ONE COLOR IS WRONG

When a minister uses only one color:

It ignores spiritual seasons
It removes meaning from worship
It shows lack of understanding of church order

The altar is not casual, it is intentional.

The stole is not decoration…
It is communication.

Every time you stand to minister, your appearance should align with:

The season
The message
The atmosphere

Because in ministry…
Even what you wear is speaking.

ANGLICANISM

Catholic Church vs Anglican Communion
A simple, honest comparison

This is not about competition, it’s about understanding.

1. Authority & Leadership

The Catholic Church is led by the Pope, the Bishop of Rome, who is seen as the universal head of the Church.

The Anglican Communion has no single global head.
It is a family of churches, with the Archbishop of Canterbury as a symbolic leader, not an absolute authority.

2. Structure

Catholic Church → Centralized
One global structure under Rome.

Anglican Communion → Decentralized
Made up of autonomous provinces (like the Church of Nigeria), each governed locally.

3. Worship Style

Catholic worship is uniform and structured, guided by the Roman Missal.

Anglican worship is also liturgical, but more flexible ranging from very traditional (high church) to simpler expressions (low church).

4. Sacraments

Catholics recognize 7 sacraments (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation, etc.).

Anglicans also acknowledge these,
but emphasize 2 as dominical sacraments (instituted by Christ)
Baptism and the Eucharist.

5. Clergy

Catholic priests are generally celibate (especially in the Latin Church).

Anglican clergy can marry (before or even after ordination in many provinces).

6. Origins

The Catholic Church traces its continuity directly through Rome and apostolic succession.

The Anglican Communion emerged during the Reformation in England,
maintaining catholic order while embracing reformed theology.

7. Doctrine & Approach

Catholic → More defined and centralized doctrine

Anglican → Holds Scripture, Tradition, and Reason together
(what many call the Anglican “threefold approach”)

So what’s the takeaway?

They share

- Historic roots
- Apostolic tradition
- Sacramental life

But differ in:

- Authority
- Governance
- Expression

Different expressions, yet both seeking to serve Christ and His Church.
