A mother’s goodbye is never truly goodbye—it is love that changes form and watches over us from beyond.

Family, Friends and Faithfuls gathered at Holy Resurrection & St. Spiridon Orthodox church Uthiru us we were biding farewell to one of us Lydia Njeri Kinyanjui an icon of hope she was to her family, community and a great woman of faith.
The funeral Mass was presided by Priest in charge Rev. Fr. Nicholas Kimani Njoroge assisted by Catechist Simon.

Her hands may rest, her voice may fade, but her love walks with us even on her final journey.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;

The loss of a Mother is such a great loss that can't be filled by others.
We regret to announce the death of Lydia Njeri Kinyanjui (Wakimani).

Family & friends are meeting daily for Prayers and burial arrangements at Her Home, Uthiru Gakobu near Clover Green School from 4pm.

The cottage leaves PCEA Thogoto Funeral Home followed by a funeral Mass at HOLY RESSURECTION AND ST.SPIRIDON ORTHODOX CHURCH UTHIRU. on Wednesday 17th June 2026 starting from 11a.m. thereafter burial to follow at Her Home Uthiru Gakobu.
