~THIS SEPTEMBER AT MAVUNO~

When tragedy strikes, it is natural to ask the question “why me?” When we see our families, our workplaces and businesses affected by challenges beyond our control, questions easily arise.

The harder and more natural question is “How can I make this matter?”

This month, Mavuno Church invites you to “THRIVING BEYOND”, our exciting new sermon series where we will be learning what God could be saying to us during this unusual, but not unprecedented season.

Each week, we will engage with several people who will be sharing from their experiences and reflections. We’ll meet some people who have actually gone through the COVID-19 illness, we’ll talk to some whose business have survived through the crisis, and we’ll meet some whose families have come through this whole season not just unscathed, but actually stronger.

In each case, we’ll be asking ourselves what lessons we can learn for our own faith to help us thrive beyond.

BE THE SPARK is a campaign that challenges people to look for opportunities around them to challenge others in their journey of faith, and walk them through a discipleship process. The challenge will kick off on the 6th of September 2020, and run for ten weeks until the 8th of November.
