COMMUNITY OF HOPE is a charitable children’s care center for Orphans and Vulnerable children. It was established in 2002 as part of the missionary activities of the religious Sisters of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary whose Charism is Compassion in the spirit of Humility. This is the motivating force underlying our services to humanity especially the less privileged.

Community of Hope care center is located along Thika – Garissa road in magogoni village /community, in Ngoliba Ward in Thika East District – Kiambu County. It was started in 2002 out of need after rescuing children who were in need of care from life threatening situations. The main aim of the program is to rescue, restore hope, empower and transform the lives of orphans and vulnerable children. Currently there are 46 children at the home aged between 4 months and sixteen years
