Why do we pray before we eat? 🙏🍽️
This morning at breakfast, I had a simple conversation with our children about why we pray before eating.
We pray because food is a gift from God. We pause to thank Him for providing for us, to ask Him to bless the food, and to remember that not everyone has enough to eat.
Prayer teaches our children gratitude, humility, and sharing. Even an ordinary breakfast can become an opportunity to remember God and His goodness.
At St. Barnabas, we want our children not only to be educated, but also to grow in faith and learn to see God in the ordinary things of life. 🙏❤️
You can help us provide daily meals for over 314 children. Sponsor a child through our website:

Every child deserves enough food to learn, grow, and thrive. ❤️
