Faith Gets God’s Attention.

Today's Scripture:
In Lystra there sat a man who was lame. He had been that way from birth and had never walked. He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed.
(Acts 14:8–9, NIV)

Today's Word:
We all have difficulties and reasons to be sour, but we can’t let those things talk us out of what God wants to do. In today’s Scripture, Paul could see an expectancy on this man’s expression that he had the faith to be healed. Paul stopped his message and said, “Stand up!” The man jumped up and began to walk for the first time.

The question is, can your faith be seen like this man’s was? Can anybody notice that you’re expecting to go to a new level? Are you talking like it’s going to happen, thinking like it’s going to happen, acting like it’s going to happen? There should be an expectancy that you’re ready to be healed, ready to be free, ready to go to a new level. “What I’ve believed God will do for me could happen today!” When your faith can be seen in your attitude, in your expressions, in how you talk, that’s what gets God’s attention.

A Prayer for Today:
“Father, thank You that I walk by faith and not by sight. Thank You that Your power can turn impossible situations around, open the right door, and bring an abundance of unexpected favor. I am living with a sense of expectancy that You will do great things. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Have a Motivated Monday.

Unto Us.

Today's Scripture:
For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder…
(Isaiah 9:6, NKJV)

Today's Word:
When Jesus came to the earth in human form, He brought with Him everything you need to be empowered to live a life of victory. He came as a little baby, but as the Son of God, He represented all authority in heaven and earth. When you choose to serve Him, you are no longer a part of the kingdom of the world. You become a part of His kingdom, and you have access to all His resources. You have access to His peace, power, authority, provision, joy and strength. He brought all this to us. Unto us victory is given. Unto us peace is given. Unto us provision is given. Unto us hope and healing are given. Unto us eternal life is given!

Whatever you need today, remember, when Jesus came into the world, He made a way for every one of your needs to met spiritually, emotionally and physically. Take hold of His promises by faith, knowing that He has good plans for you today!

A Prayer for Today's:
"Father in heaven, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, so that I could be free to live an abundant life in You. Fill me with the revelation of Your love and all that You have for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen."

Have a Wonderful Merry Christmas 🎄

A Heart of Compassion

Today's Scripture:
If anyone…sees his brother and fellow believer in need, yet closes his heart of compassion against him, how can the love of God live and remain in him?
(1 John 3:17, AMPC)

Today's Word:
In Matthew 20, when two blind beggars cried out for Jesus to have mercy on them, it says that “Jesus stopped and called them,” then He healed them. Jesus always took time for people. He was never too busy with His own agenda, with His own plans. He wasn’t so caught up in Himself that He was unwilling to stop and help any person in need. He could have easily said, “Listen, I have a schedule to keep.” But no, Jesus had compassion on people. He freely gave of His life.

Make sure that you keep your heart of compassion open. We need to be willing to be interrupted and inconvenienced if it means we can help meet someone’s needs. Sometimes if we would just take the time to listen to them, we could help initiate a healing process in his or her life. If you can open your heart of compassion and be that person’s friend—without judging or condemning—and simply have an ear to listen, you could make a difference in that person’s life.

A Prayer for Today:
“Father, thank You that You have poured Your love into my heart through the Holy Spirit. Thank You that You have opened my spirit to be compassionate and kind and merciful to others like You are. I want to do the things that are on Your heart for others. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
