Ex 33:19 ... and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

The above scripture is often misunderstood as meaning that Elohim arbitrarily favours some people and rejects others. However, when read in its context and in harmony with the rest of Scriptures, it teaches Elohim's sovereignty in dispensing mercy, not unjust discrimination. In short, Elohim is saying, "I am free to extend mercy according to my wisdom and character; no one can claim it as an entitlement." This is not discrimination in the sinful human sense. It is the exercise of divine mercy. The Bible repeatedly states that God does not practice favoritism, eg., Romans 2:11 etc. After the golden calf incident (Exodus 32) , the whole nation of Israel deserved destruction. Yet He spared them because of His covenant promises and because of Moses' intercession. Their survival was due to mercy, not merit. Paul quotes this verse in Romans 9:15, and his argument is that Elohim's saving plan has always operated by grace rather than human achievement. Paul is not teaching that Elohim is unfair. Rather, he is emphasizing that salvation originates in Elohim's grace.

Did the Messiah merely teach the Word, or did He live by it every day of His life?

Join us for a powerful and eye-opening sermon as we explore the Scriptures and uncover how the Messiah's words, actions, decisions, and sacrifice were all rooted in complete obedience to the Word of Elohim. From the wilderness temptation to His final moments, He demonstrated what it truly means to trust, obey, and walk according to the Father's will.

Come and discover how the Messiah became the perfect example of a life guided by Scripture, and learn how His example challenges us to live by every word that proceeds from Elohim.

This is not merely an ideal reserved for the Messiah alone, nor is it an impossible standard beyond our reach. Through faith, obedience, and the guidance of the Spirit, we too are called to walk according to the Word and follow in His footsteps.

đź“– "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of Elohim."

Don't miss this inspiring message that will strengthen your faith, deepen your understanding of the Messiah's life and mission, and encourage you to make the Word the foundation of your daily walk.

PENTECOST 2026
Join us this Pentecost 2026 as we gather in joy and celebration, remembering the outpouring of God’s Spirit that brought life, unity, and rejoicing among all people; a moment to worship, give thanks, and experience His presence together as one. As it is written in Acts 2:46–47, “They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God…”—come and be part of this joyful celebration, all are welcome!

THE HISTORY OF THE GOSPEL IN KENYA
The correspondence began when a man(The late elder Edward Macharia) searching for deeper truth came across a religious pamphlet ("The Israel Watchman Volume 6) and became eager to understand the Word of God more fully. Through continuous study, prayer, and communication with believers in Jerusalem, the light of the original gospel slowly began reaching Kenya in the late 1960s. This hunger for truth opened the door for Elder A.M. Shoemaker to arrive in Kenya in August 1970, bringing teachings rooted in the ancient faith and the commandments of God. During his mission, many believers were baptized, and sixteen faithful ministers were ordained to guide and strengthen the growing assembly. These men carried the message across different regions with dedication and courage, laying a strong spiritual foundation that has endured through generations. From that small beginning of a single pamphlet and sincere research into the Scriptures, the faith continued to grow, and by the grace of the Most High, it has been preserved and kept alive in Kenya until this very day.
