𝐎𝐛𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬.

Today, we were taught about obtaining honour through prayer and the importance of seeking God earnestly. Prayer positions us to receive God’s help, favour, direction, and intervention in our lives.

Stagnation is coming to an end. Through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, we are rising into new levels and seasons.
Things are turning around and getting better. God is able to change our circumstances and bring progress.
There is provision for God to help you. We should never forget that our help comes from the Lord.
Seek the Lord earnestly. As we seek God, He directs our steps and causes us to prosper.
2 Chronicles 26:5 – As long as Uzziah sought the Lord, God gave him success.
2 Chronicles 26:15 – Uzziah became strong and renowned, showing how God can lift someone into honour and distinction.
The Prayer of Jabez – 1 Chronicles 4:9–10

Jabez’s prayer can be summarized in four areas:

Bless me indeed – Asking God for His blessing and favour.
Enlarge my territory – Asking God for increase, growth, and greater impact.
Your hand will be with me – Desiring God’s presence, guidance, and strength.
Keep me away from harm – Asking for God’s protection and preservation.

As we continue to seek God through prayer, may we experience His help, increase, protection, and the end of every season of stagnation.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐘 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓 𝐁𝐘 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑 𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐒.

Today in our First Service, we were reminded of the person, presence, and power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not merely a force or an influence; He is the Third Person of the Holy Trinity, fully God and actively at work in the life of every believer.

We were taught about who the Holy Spirit is and the role He plays in our walk with God:

* He is the Third Person of the Holy Trinity.
* He is all-knowing, possessing the wisdom and knowledge of God.
* He is our Teacher, guiding us into truth and helping us understand the Word of God.
* He is our Helper and Comforter, strengthening us in times of need.
* He is our Guide, leading us according to God's will.
* He is our Counsellor, giving divine wisdom and direction.
* He is our Advocate, standing with us and helping us in our walk of faith.
* He empowers us to witness, serve, overcome and live victoriously.

The power of the Holy Spirit is available to transform our lives, strengthen our faith, reveal God's truth and empower us to fulfil our divine assignment.

May we never live as though we are alone. May we recognize His presence, listen to His voice, yield to His leading, and allow His power to work through us.

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me…” — Acts 1:8

Let us walk in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit!

The day is not over, and there is still more in God's presence. We warmly welcome you to our Second Service. Come with an expectant heart and a readiness to encounter God, receive His Word, and experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

As we come to the close of August, we have every reason to gather in God’s presence with gratitude, expectation, and faith. Tomorrow, let’s come together to worship, receive the Word, and give thanks for all that God has carried us through this month.

Whatever August has looked like for you, the month is not ending without a testimony! Come believing, come expectant, and come ready for what God is about to do.

𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐚

Honour is more than just words or a gesture—it is a Kingdom principle that reflects our reverence for God and the value we place on those He has entrusted to lead and guide us.

As Reverend Hosea taught us, honour begins with honouring God and extends to honouring our elders and those He has placed in positions of authority. When we walk in honour, we position ourselves to experience the blessings and favour that come from living according to God’s principles.

As we continue this series, may our hearts be open to understand the power of honour and allow it to transform our relationship with God, our relationships with others, and our spiritual journey.
