Global Intercessory Fellowship is a Christian ministry that was established in June 2002 during a period when the founder Apostle Jane Njoki Kihara was engaging in various ministerial duties including praying for the sick in hospitals and preaching the gospel in the recreational parks of the city of Nairobi. Between the year 2003 and 2006 the Fellowship held regular intercessory meetings throughou

t the month that included saints from Nairobi, Ruiru, Murang’a and Githunguri towns. The main vision of the Fellowship was to establish among other projects prayer centers across the globe. In July 2005, the ministry bore its first prayer center, in Ruiru. In that same year, the ministry also held its first evangelical outreach programmes in Gatanga and Murang’a towns. In these outreach programmes, the power of God was experienced with the sick being healed, the captives being set free, as many gave their lives to Christ and were filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. In September 2013, the Fellowship set up a second prayer center in Rabai, Mombasa. We are believing God that by 2015 another prayer center will be born in another province. God has given us the vision to open a prayer alter in every province of Kenya and in other nations around the world.
