Chairman’s Message - 4th Anniversary held on 7th April 2019
I salute you all in the Name of Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ-The Head of the Church; and our Wonderful Redeemer! I welcome you all to today’s Thanksgiving Sunday worship service more so to our visitors worshipping with us for the first time. PCEA Siloam Kimbo Church is a family oriented Church that seeks to mirror Christ in all ways. We also join together to celebrate God’s faithfulness as we mark our 4th Anniversary since PCEA Siloam was started.
Allow me to highlight some key milestones that God has enabled us to achieve as a Church. Our membership has gradually increased from the 1st count of 74 families on 29th March 2015 to over 100 families to date. Our 1st Sunday service was held in open grounds without a roof. We now have a structure which is roofed, tiled, and fitted with air fans. Remember that we started without toilets and we depended on neighbors for help but thank God now have our own. Some of our members had to host our children for Sunday school since we didn’t have classrooms. They had to endure long distances but thank God that we now have classrooms for them.
Our Strategic Plan that was launched in 2018 has helped to shape our programs towards certain goals in partnership with the various Standing committees. We now have a facebook group and I encourage all members to join as we continue to utilize social media platforms to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. By the Grace of God, we have so far managed to acquire land and property at a cost of approximately Ksh 30 Million having paid for the 5th plot and property adjacent to the Sanctuary this week.
God has used Siloam as an oasis of encouragement during our low moments, comfort when we lost loved ones, and has generally provided a spiritual, social and physical growth to the Church membership. Pulpit messages have been transformation and life uplifting. Souls have been saved from eternal destruction through thi
