HAVE YOU COMMANDED YOUR DAY IN THE MORNING
Job 38:12-14
[12]“Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place,
[13]that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it?
[14]The earth takes shape like clay under a seal;
its features stand out like those of a garment.

We should pray wherever we wake up to bless our day .
If we speak negative things about our lifes it will turn negative and if positive will b positive.
God sees us a conquer and winners.
Psalm 5:3-5
[3]In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly.
[4]For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness;
with you, evil people are not welcome.
[5]The arrogant cannot stand
in your presence.
You hate all who do wrong;
David testified about God who hears our request in the morning.God gives us guarantee that he is ready to hear and answer our prayers.
Jeremiah 29:11
[11]For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
The Lord has commanded us to obey his commandments for us to achieve more.
Deuteronomy 28:13
[13]The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.
God is a God of a second chance.
Always command your day for better outcomes.

Yesterday's sermon summary
GODLY PARENTING
Exodus 3: 1-15

When God met Moses in a burning bush, he created time and as parents we should do the same to our young ones.

1.Time creation- have time with your son /daughter
2. Introduced himself - let you child know who you are.
3. vs 11-15, God listened to Moses- be a listening parent 4. He assured Moses he will accompany him throughout the journey- be a Supporting & Encouraging parent
5. Guide them on their company -God instructed him to walk with Aaron and the Elders.
6. Let them know the assignment before them - God explained all the assignments and the challenges before him
6. He warned Israelites against Idol worship Exodus 20 : 1-5- be Warning them on their deeds.
To add on that :
7. Proverbs 19: 18 Discipline your children, for in that there is hope; do not be a willing party to their death.
8. Providing - 1 Timothy 5:8
[8]Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

As parents, relatives or church, let's be the friends of our children and walk together for their success journey.

Ecclesiastes 5:1-2,4-5,7
[1]Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. Go near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools, who do not know that they do wrong.
[2]Do not be quick with your mouth,
do not be hasty in your heart
to utter anything before God.
God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few.
[4]When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow.
[5]It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it.
[7]Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore fear God.

A LEADER SHOULD BE PRAYERFUL
2 Chronicles 7:1-3
[1]When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.
[2]The priests could not enter the temple of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled it.
[3]When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the Lord above the temple, they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying,
“He is good;
his love endures forever.”
