THINGS EVERY SON OF GOD SHOULD LEARN EARLY IN LIFE:

There are some lessons that are best learned early. The sooner you understand them, the more effective and fruitful your life will be.

1. Understand Your Priorities

Where are you spending your time, energy, and resources? Your priorities reveal what truly matters to you. A misplaced priority can cost you years, while the right priority can accelerate your purpose.

2. Understand the Extent of Your Grace

Know your God-given abilities, skills, assignments, and measure of grace.

*"For I say, through the grace given unto me... not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think..."* (Romans 12:3)

God has given every person a measure of faith and grace. Wisdom comes from recognizing what God has called and equipped you to do without over stretching yourself beyond measure.

3. Develop the Ability to Discern Right from Wrong

One of the tragedies in life is when a son of God is unable to discern right from wrong.

4. Discover the Will of God Early

What has God called you to do? What does He expect from your life?

Many people spend decades pursuing the wrong things only to discover their purpose late in life. Seek God's will early and align your life with His plan.

5. Learn to Hear God's Voice for Yourself

Every believer should grow in discerning God's voice personally.

The goal is not to remain dependent on someone else to hear from God on your behalf, but to mature spiritually and become like the sons of Issachar who understood the times and knew what Israel ought to do.

6. Learn to Discern Between the Natural and the Spiritual

Not everything that appears correct naturally is correct spiritually.

Naaman understood that the God of Israel had healed him, yet he struggled with the implications of continuing to participate in the worship of God of Elisha, he therefore failed to see the dynamics of salvation though he was accurate in his context.

2 Kings 5:18
But may the LORD forgive your servant for this one thing: When my master enters the temple of Rimmon to bow down and he is leaning on my arm and I bow there also-when I bow down in the temple of Rimmon, may the LORD forgive your servant for this."

Likewise, the twelve spies all saw the same giants in the land. Their observation was naturally accurate. But spiritually incorrect.

Ten spies saw defeat.

Joshua and Caleb saw God's promise.

*"We were in our own sight as grasshoppers..."* (Numbers 13:33)

*"If the Lord delight in us, then He will bring us into this land..."* (Numbers 14:8)

A mature believer learns to see situations not only through natural lenses but also through the lens of God's word.

The earlier you learn these lessons, the stronger your walk with God and the more effective your life will become.
