Imagine how important a tour guide is! A tourist cannot dream of leaving his country to visit another without prerequisite arrangement through tour agencies in the country of embarkment. He will provide the agency with his itinerary for onward bookings for various hotels where he will be putting up, various tourist results that he will be visiting, etc.
From the moment he lands on the foreign soil, the demand for a tour guide arises. He is picked from the airport by his tour guide who will lead him to the hotel and be accompanying him in all his activities and visits henceforth since he has not been here before. His success and satisfaction will be predicated upon the ability of the tour guide, his knowledge, his mastery of the tourist expectations and his diligence in providing articulate information to his visitor. Likewise they that have faith in God, born again according to the scriptures, on a journey to the land God has invited us to; we are sojourners and that we have no continuing city here.
He says you have never passed this way before hence I'll send you a guide to lead you along the journey.
We are admonished to take heed to obey him. Our safe arrival depends on our diligence in hearing and obedience to the instructions of the guide.
When God promises to do something we must understand that we have no formular nor the blueprint of what he has promised. Similarly we don't know the season for his word. If we will see the performance of his word in our lives we will need a tour guide to lead us to his promises. He watches upon his word to perform to us but are we willing to use the services of a tour guide he has provided to be with us along the journey? Without him we will never see the fulfilment of the word! That's why Moses cried "if your presence does not go with us, don't take us from here." To Moses it was better to stay in the wilderness than to go without his presence.
Friends 2025 is a season within which almost everyone has great expectations. We have heard great promises declared upon us in the name of God but I am very certain only a handful will see the fulfilment of that word. To some 2025 could be Spring to others Summer or winter yet to some it will be autumn. Whichever season you find yourself in, needless to state you'll need a tour guide the same way a tourist needs in order to navigate his way in the foreign land. Without him you may never even understand the kind of a season he has predestined for you; hence you'll keep on making declarations that are not in his will for you. Are you certain that which was declared upon you on that memorable night is what God is saying concerning your life?
The Bible says "And this is the confidence we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us," this is the bottom line "according to his will". As you begin the walk through this season, are you certain beyond doubt that you are within his perfect will?
To be sure consult the guide, he knows the answer because he knows the mind of God concerning you individually; not about a congregation but you personally. He says I'll not leave you to wander aimlessly I'll send you a guide from heaven, the very presence of God.
Friends we have a Spiritual Tour Guide even the Holy Spirit, our helper. He is ever waiting to hear you consult him in all matters pertaining to this journey and his purpose for us in the land of our sojourning.
Do you wish to see the season abound in marvelous testimonies of his wondrous deeds? Then continually make use of the Tour Guide! Do not lean on your own understanding.
MAY HIS PRESENCE ABIDE WITH YOU THROUGH THIS YEAR PEOPLE OF GOD.
Plsam 91:1, "He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."
God Bless You all

WHO'S FLOCK DO YOU FEED?
Acts 20:28, "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood."
1 Peter 5:1-4 KJV‬
[1] The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: [2] feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; [3] neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. [4] And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

In the gospel of John 10:11, Jesus says "I am the good shepherd", this verse read together with the above verses clearly shows who is the owner of the Flock/Church and the true shepherd.
In verse 14 of John 10, He says, "I am the good shepherd and I know my sheep and am known by my own.”
The Psalmist in psalm 23, says "the Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want....."

Servant of God the flock/Church you refer to as yours has the true owner and one day pretty soon you are going to give account of your shepherdhood.
Apostle Paul tells to be diligence and take heed in shepherding God's flock; our oversight is required as one who is appointed to steward somebody elses property. The sheep does not belong to you, God purchased the flock/the Church with his own blood.
Apostle Peter echoes Paul's warning and reminds us that as overseers we should take care of the flock not by compulsion but willingly; we are warned against dishonesty and overloading the flock. We should be examples to those that we are leading.
Peter tells us if we carry out our duties with diligence, willingly and faithfully there's a reward from the Chief Shepherd: but if we should also listen to the warnig in book of Jeremiah 23:1-2, ‭
[1] Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. [2] Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD."
Apostle, Pastor, and you Bishop whose flock are you shepherding, Yours or God's?
Do not be deceived by the Title they have given you in that organisation you serve under! To the Chief Shepherd you will soon stand and give your report!! Be accountable.

The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: feed the flock of God which is among

16. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16 BSB

11. Say to them: β€˜As surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked should turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’

Ezekiel 33:11 BSB

Have you ever thought that God cares for even that person whom you think should not be living by now. It's interesting how we get worked up at the mention of a witch, sorcerer or even a thief?
The other day I got should worked up and prayed with a lot of anger and bitterness against the witches and sorcerers. my prayer was something like "I command the roofs of their house tops be removed and be consumed with fire....?" Then the creator silenced me and asked me, 'did Jesus die for them or for others who are not as bad as them?' I thought for a while and refreshed my mind, "for so God loved the world that he sent his only begotten son....." and then also I recalled Ezekiel 33:11, that he takes no pleasure in the death of siners. Suddenly I realized I had no case before God.
God has given us the plan to defeat the enemy...
He says don't be overcome by evil but defeat evil with good; Jesus was manifest that he should destroy the works of Satan... not the siner but the works that makes one a siner. Remember Revelation 11:12? They overcome him, the devil, by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony.....
It dawned to me with great amazement that we almost always pray amiss hence our prayers receive no answers from a holy and a just judge because he cannot over rule his own word. Be informed and pray with understanding.

3. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear and obey what is written in it, because the time is near.

Revelation 1:3 BSB

17. If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.

James 4:17 NIV

James tells us that it is a sin not doing the good we know.
This good is revealed through the word of God, that's why it's equally a sin not reading our Bible.
Blessed is he that reads and hear and do what's written there-in.
Child of God endeavor to discover the good that is expected of you through studying the word.
Read again those portions James 4:17; Rev1:3. Meditate on them and allow the word to speak to your heart.

*_BIBLE STUDY: Wed. 22nd Jan. 2023_*

GOD’S WORD IS FOREVER!

Visibly during rainy season everything seems to be endowed with appealing natural beauty. Flowers look so attractive, the grass is equally green, so healthy. But no sooner the rains stop than the beautiful flowers begin to fade fall from the stalks; the grass that appeared to insinuate it's there to stay begin to turn yellow and eventually wither away. Equally elusive is the beauty of women and the masculine appearance of young men. They all are for a season. Age, sickness and other adversities affect them.
The only one who is changeless, timeless and not affected by the calamities of this world including seasons is God; He is the same yesterday, today and forever. ( Heb. 14:8)

_>>>>The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”
Isaiah 40:8 NIV
>>>>Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Matthew 24:35 NIV
>>>>Psalm 119:89, β€œYour word, Lord, is eternal it stands firm in the heavens……”_

Did you ever think about what that means?
So many things pass away in life. Not just grass and flowers, but our looks. Health. Potential. Promises. Peace, jobs, and childhood friends. Our heroes. But God’s word stands forever. Awesome! But who cares? Why does it matter? What is β€œthe word of our God” that we should want it not to change or fade away?
Our words vs. God’s Word
Oliver Wendell Holmes called a word β€œthe skin of a living thought.” It’s a sound that has meaning, the oral (or written) expression of someone’s idea.
God’s word is so much more than that. Sure, it expresses his thought and truth. But it is living and active itself, it’s not just a β€œskin” on top of something else. God’s word has power. When he speaks, things happen. Chaos dissolves, things are created and put in good order. Darkness is flooded with light. Storms quiet, the sick are healed, demons flee, death is overcome by life. All at a word from God. All at the word of God. And that Word is more than a sound or collection of letters. God’s word became flesh. While a sound floats on the air and dies away, God’s word is a tangible, physical person β€” Jesus β€” who is with us forever. Because he IS the Word, we can meet him in the pages of Scripture and hear him speak to us through that β€œstill, small voice” of

the Holy Spirit. And because his word is living and powerful, when it is inside us, it can make us more like him. _
*12 Reasons I’m glad God’s word doesn’t fail_*
I did a little word study to see what Scripture says about the word of God. Here are some of the things I discovered. Look up the verses in your Bible to learn more:
*GOD’S WORD IS A β€œLIGHT” THAT GIVES US:*
****Direction (Psalm 119:105)
****Understanding (Psalm 119:130)

*>>IF YOU HEAR HIS WORD AND KEEP IT IN YOUR HEART:*
****It will bring you life and healing (Proverbs 4:20-22; Psalm 107:20)
****It will help keep you from sin (Psalm 119:11)
****It will bring joy and delight to your heart (Jeremiah 15:16)
*LEARNING GOD’S WORD CAN:*
***Instruct us for salvation, (Romans 1:16; 1Cor. 1:18)
***Teach, reprove, correct, train us in righteousness (2Tim.3:16; Romans 4:22-24; Rom 15:4)
***Make us complete, (2Tim. 3:17, Cf. Ephesians 4:12)
***Equip us for good works (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2Tim.2-21)
*IN ADDITION, THE WORD OF GOD:*
***Is a weapon against the evil in this world (Ephesians 6:17; 2Cor.10:3-5)
***Discerns your thoughts and intentions (Hebrews 4:12)
***Is as essential for life as food is to the body. (Matthew 4:4; Deut. 8:3)

God’s word is always there for you!
Jesus told the Jews who believed in him that if they β€œcontinue in” his word, they are true disciples and will know the truth that will set them free (John 8:31-32). The only way you can β€œcontinue in” something is if it lasts. If it’s reliable. If it’s always there for you.
God’s word is like that. It is always available, always ready to give us joy, always able to set us free, always there to help us navigate our lives and fight our battles.
Are you listening?
How can you receive God’s word in your heart today, and hang onto it so it can do its work in you?
The word of the Lord endures forever. Let us give thanks and praise!

07/05/2020

Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyedβ€”not only in my presence, but now much more in my absenceβ€”continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
Philippians 2:12‭-‬13
