Good morning brethren and happy Easter.
As we are celebrating the death and ressurrection of our Lord Jesus, let it be clear that he died not for his sins but for ours, to reconciliate us with God the father.
We should therefore be careful not to make his death be in vain. Let's live in the hope of ressurrection and living with him in heaven. The lives we lead should therefore portray the worth of his death on the cross, having full knowledge of he who gave up himself for us.
Have a blessed day, God bless you

*LGG MORNING DEVOTION*
*What's Chasing You?*

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Psalm 23:6, NKJV)

In the Bible, David was known as a man after God’s own heart. What kind of attitude did he have? Here in Psalm 23, he says, “Goodness and mercy are following me.” David lived with an attitude of expectancy. One translation says, “God’s kindness chases me everywhere that I go.” David’s attitude was “something good is going to happen to me. Everywhere I go, I know God’s blessings are chasing me. Favor is following me around.” No wonder he saw God’s goodness! No wonder he overcame his obstacles and accomplished great dreams. He knew good things were chasing after him.

Do you know what’s chasing you right now? Not debt. Not failure. Not mediocrity. Not defeat. Not lack. Not at all! You are a child of the Most High God. You have been crowned with favor. You have been redeemed from every curse. God has set you apart as His own special treasure. When you look back in your rearview mirror, you’d better get ready because you have a tailgater! There’s something coming toward you at a high rate of speed. You know what it is? Blessings, favor, supernatural opportunities, restoration, divine connections—God’s goodness and mercy following you all the days of your life!

*PRAYER*

Father, thank You for Your abundant grace and mercy. Today I look for Your goodness. I look for Your favor and blessings. I set my heart on You. Show me Your love in a new way today in Jesus name. Amen.

*Lean Not*

Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!" (ISAIAH 31:1)

If there is anything that the Lord cherishes, it is absolute confidence and trust in Him. He often lavishes His blessings on those that put their hope in Him. On the contrary, He is unhappy when His children put their trust in men or gods. In the passage, God had harsh words for the children of Israel for going down to Egypt to seek help against the king of Assyria. He was disappointed that they had forgotten His great works and deliverances in the past. The foolishness in relying on ordinary mortals is further portrayed in verse 3: “Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together”. He warned them that both the children of Israel seeking help and the Egyptians offering to help shall both be judged to show the utter powerlessness of men. Then He promised that He would protect the city and overthrow the king of Assyria if they turned to Him. As Sovereign, God owns us by creation and by redemption. He is not happy when we do not have faith in His ability to solve our problems. He wants us to have complete and absolute confidence in Him and His promises. Whenever we are faced with a difficult situation, the Lord wants us not to look towards men for help but to look up towards heaven from whence comes our help. He is our very present help in trouble.

*He knows your needs.*
Be calm and wait.
Luke 12:29-30
[29]And do not give overmuch thought to your food and drink, and let not your mind be full of doubts.
[30]For the nations of the world go in search of all these things: but your Father has knowledge that you have need of them.

*Let's make this prayer*
Psalms 101:1-8
[1]I will make a song of mercy and righteousness; to you, O Lord, will I make melody.
[2]I will do wisely in the way of righteousness: O when will you come to me? I will be walking in my house with a true heart.
[3]I will not put any evil thing before my eyes; I am against all turning to one side; I will not have it near me.
[4]The false heart I will send away from me: I will not have an evil-doer for a friend.
[5]I will put to death anyone who says evil of his neighbour secretly; the man with a high look and a heart of pride is disgusting to me.
[6]My eyes will be on those of good faith in the land, so that they may be living in my house; he who is walking in the right way will be my servant.
[7]The worker of deceit will not come into my house; the false man will have no place before my eyes.
[8]Morning by morning will I put to death all the sinners in the land, so that all evil-doers may be cut off from Jerusalem.

YOU ARE SET FREE!
Galatians 5:1
[1]Christ has truly made us free: then keep your free condition and let no man put a yoke on you again.
Christ bought for us the freedom in which we should live in. Nothing, no one should take us away from the love of God.
As you were set free, so live in freedom.

Good morning and welcome to our daily devotion.
*THE SECRET TO VICTORY IS INVOLVING GOD IN YOUR BATTLES*
1 Samuel 30:7-8
[7]And David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech, Come here to me with the ephod. And Abiathar took the ephod to David.
[8]Then David, questioning the Lord, said, Am I to go after this band? will I be able to overtake them? And in answer he said, Go after them, for you will certainly overtake them, and get back everything.

KING DAVID wouldn't do his things blindly because he never relied on his mighty army but knew well that only God would make him victorious. Even when his people had been taken captive, he never sat down questioning God but instead he sought for his directions.
Brethren, when faced by situations, what is your primary action? Do you seek God's direction or you do it your way?
The secret to emerging victorious is involving God in anything you do.
Blessed day

*Don't judge!*
Good morning family? God is reminding us to amend our ways this morning and walk in his righteousness.
You can't defeat darkness unless you are in light. So, we should not judge others when we are exactly doing the same thing as they do, because God is there to judge us all.. all you need to do, is to walk uprightly to avoid the judgement of God.

Romans 2:1-3
[1]So you have no reason, whoever you are, for judging: for in judging another you are judging yourself, for you do the same things.
[2]And we are conscious that God is a true judge against those who do such things.
[3]But you who are judging another for doing what you do yourself, are you hoping that God's decision will not take effect against you?

Have a blessed day.

*WORD OF THE DAY* .
*May God give you revelation.*

*There is no Justification for sin.
Romans 1:16-26*
[16]For I have no feeling of shame about the good news, because it is the power of God giving salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first, and then to the Greek.
[17]For in it there is the revelation of the righteousness of God from faith to faith: as it is said in the holy Writings, The man who does righteousness will be living by his faith.
[18]For there is a revelation of the wrath of God from heaven against all the wrongdoing and evil thoughts of men who keep down what is true by wrongdoing;
[19]Because the knowledge of God may be seen in them, God having made it clear to them.
[20]For from the first making of the world, those things of God which the eye is unable to see, that is, his eternal power and existence, are fully made clear, he having given the knowledge of them through the things which he has made, so that men have no reason for wrongdoing:
[21]Because, having the knowledge of God, they did not give glory to God as God, and did not give praise, but their minds were full of foolish things, and their hearts, being without sense, were made dark.
[22]Seeming to be wise, they were in fact foolish,
[23]And by them the glory of the eternal God was changed and made into the image of man who is not eternal, and of birds and beasts and things which go on the earth.
[24]For this reason God gave them up to the evil desires of their hearts, working shame in their bodies with one another:
[25]Because by them the true word of God was changed into that which is false, and they gave worship and honour to the thing which is made, and not to him who made it, to whom be blessing for ever. So be it.
[26]For this reason God gave them up to evil passions, and their women were changing the natural use into one which is unnatural:

*WALKING IN LIGHT*

1 John 1:5-7
[5]This is the word which came to us from him and which we give to you, that God is light and in him there is nothing dark.
[6]If we say we are joined to him, and are walking still in the dark, our words are false and our acts are untrue:
[7]But if we are walking in the light, as he is in the light, we are all united with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son makes us clean from all sin.

*THE DEVINE CONNECTION*
Good morning beloved Brethren, Recieve Calvary greetings in abundance of love bestowed to us in Christ Jesus. It's my hope that Christ have kept you well.
Welcome to our morning Devotion.

Jesus left us with the power to command, to heal and do exploits through his name. Those who are called by his name have the authority to do all things because they are heirs in the kingdom of God and not slaves any more.
But you will only be able to do exploits if you know Christ pretty well and have that devine connection with him. *He is the source you should always tap from* . He is our strength and in him we are able to do all things.
*Philippians 4:13*
*[13]I am able to do all* *things through him who gives me strength.*

*Prayer*
God give us the grace to put our trust in you, to rely on your strength. We make you our strong rock, we rely on you.
Amen
