☦️🇰🇪 Blessed Fourth Sunday after Pentecost to all Orthodox Christians in Kenya 🇰🇪☦️
Today, the Holy Gospel presents to us the beautiful faith and humility of the Roman Centurion, who came before Christ seeking healing not for himself, but for his servant.
📖 "Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof, but only speak a word, and my servant shall be healed." — Matthew 8:8
The Centurion teaches us two great virtues: faith and humility. Though he was a man of authority, he approached Christ with the heart of a servant. And because of his faith, the Lord declared:
📖 "I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel."
In today's Epistle, we are reminded that we have been set free from sin and called to become servants of righteousness and holiness.
As we continue the Apostles' Fast, may we learn to trust in the power of Christ's word, to walk in humility, and to place our lives entirely in His hands.
May the faith of the Centurion inspire us to pray not only for ourselves, but also for our families, our communities, and our nation.
Kenya Orthodox Church TV wishes all Orthodox Christians a peaceful, grace-filled, and blessed Sunday.
☦️ "As you have believed, so let it be done for you." — Matthew 8:13 ☦️
